Day 34

Day 34 ~ Lights Out!! :wiz:
:bong:

Ok.. so pretty much right after I posted this morning... I was thinking she is getting too close to the lights... I have the center light w/ reflector as high as it could go.. I took a quick measurement and she was with-in 3" of the lights @ the top cola... hmmm? what to do? what to do?:confused::confused:

I chose to LST her a bit... I bent the main stem about 45 degrees to bring the plant about 4.5" to 5" away from the bulb... still thought this wont work untill my LED's arrive... which I plan on ordering tomorrow at some point!! but, I still haven't decided on which one to buy yet...:confused::confused:

So... after watching her for a couple of hours as I worked... I decided the light set up had to change as well... I took the only 6500K light out of the center reflector and switched with 2700K bulb and moved to the back of the cabinet angled slightly. then I took off the strip cord that has the (2) 44W 2700K bulbs mounted from the back wall and put them in the center of the cabinet hanging down. I moved the 6500K bulb to the front of the cabinet between the doors, and spread the other (2) 2700k bulbs to each side... She now has pleanty of room to strech if she wants, untill the LED arrive.. and I dont have to worry about burning her with the bulbs being sooo close.

I've been doing alot of tucking and pulling and bending lately... I try not to touch her alot.. but it is so hard not to tuck leaves out of the way... I'm temped to cut some off to free up some space for light, I would also think it's less veg to soak up the nutes?? Does anyone have an opion on clipping instead of tucking??

Almost every budsite has white hairs growing today!! Here are some pics streched out over the coarse of today and this eveing... :wiz: Goodnight AFN'ers

:peace: out pimpin'

Hey tx wish I could be more help with leds but im trying to figure which to pick up myself. But your girl is looking beautiful and responding well to the lst. Im a bit of a pruner but ill tuck after. I dont like taking more than 2-4 leaves a day for auto's and never more than 20. But when i did photoperiod i would prune fairly often with good results.

OK.. so when you prune, how do you decide what leaf to take away? and is a leaf ever too big to prune? and where do you snip the stem of the leaf at? Close to the stalk? and at an angle I've heard? can you confirm? Sorry bro.. I got ??'s today!!
:smokebuds:

I like the top fan leaves not any connected to buds. I prefer bigger ones to let more light in. I grab the bottom on the fan and bend it towards the main stalk and itll snap right off. Your fine man im workin right now these are nice breaks:smokebuds:

Apreesh!! I'm going to give it a try here in a few.. when I free up from my 9-5 job... or on my 1hr lunch break today...

Be careful on her first prune maybe 2-3 leaves and watch growth and do it again in about a week.
