Thanks for the heads up. Can I drill holes from the bottom up, since the pot is full of hydroton pebbles and my baby, I cant really take her out and do it can I?
I am only using the pump it came with to airorate the water, Should I buy a airstone and put it in the rezz? How will I run the hose from the new pump to the airstone? I would have to drill another whole in the netpot and run the hose down from the net pot into the rezz, huh?
Last question, should I only mix the "very little" nutes when I change the rezz every 4-6 days... and only add ph'd water to top off the rezz, or just let it get low then change the rezz water out?
Also tested Ph lastnight, it had been 2 days since I changed the rezz water & first gave her nutes and 2 drops of Cal-Mag, Ph reading was 6.8, so I topped of the rezz with spring water and adjusted back don to 5.6, but did not add any nutes.

Changed the water farm system from only coming on 3 times a day to 24hrs, didnt make since to only have any air flow running thru the water 3 times a day for 30mins. So I've had it running since I changed my rezz & added nutes 2 days ago.
I just put up my little rain gutters close to her for 30min/3 times a day. For sure going to add another pump and air stone to puch or spray more water thru the system.
yes to drilling up its prob the only reasonable way to do it. and i didnt have an airstone in my setup but it became an issue towards the end. a quick youtube search but youll prob need another pump. and when you change your res and clean out any sedement from the bucket depending on where you are in the cycle i was doing strong concentrations and they were loving it so its more strain dependant but pay attention to the leaves for hte next 1 or 2 after a res change and see how they like it.

Well I turned off the (2) 200w 2700K lights as I have some exaust issues, I woke up yesterday and the cab temp was 98 degrees, thus I think this is why her leaves were curling. The cab turned on about 4am and I woke up @ 5:30am so I dont think it was 98 degrees very long. I got it back down to 85 pretty quick.
So I added a fan to the outside of the cab lastnight to suck more air out. I will in stall another one today, I'll attach pics once complete..
I'll probley keep those 6500K light off for another weeek or so...

So I couldn't take the 120v/60hz/3w air pump that came with the WaterFarm system. I ran to Pet Smart @ lunch and picked up the gem!

This bad boy has my rezz bubbling like crazy!
It has 4 outputs so I bought a 4-way valve thingy that looked like it would do the trick, I as right! works like a charm.
On the lowest setting it bubbles the water slowly, 1/2 speed gets it going, but full speed has that water moving!
How big of bubbles do I want?
Just enough to bubble the bottom of the net pod, right?
Probably going to leave it on the lowest setting for now. Until I get some feedback from you guys..
Also I put the pump on 20/4 with the lights, since it runs non-stop. I figure this ould give the hydroton some time to dry out a little? Good move? or do I want to leave it on 24/7? Idk? I would think this style system can run 24/7, since the water is just running down thru the roots anyway, I mean eventually the roots will be in the rezz water 24/7.. so I dont see the harm in running it all the time? Advise please!
Next I removed Mari from the cab. Took out the 200w/2700K lights out for now. I will bring them back week closer to week 4 or 5 I think. We'll see..
Made a little "light sheild" for the light that was getting out of the hole the cords run through. (That was a request from the wifey, she likes it dark in the bedroom)
Cut another exaust hole up top next to the other one. Now I have (2) 100cmf fans sucking the air out & (2) more pulling cool air in from the bottom of the cab. I dont want that baby even getting close to 98 degrees again.:no:
If this doesn't pull enouph air out, I may move the fans to the inside of the cab to push the air, Idk? But my fans are 4" and I only had a 2 1/2" holesaw bit. I'm looking for a cheap 4" now, but everyone I find is like $35+...

I had to come up for something for the new pump, almost double in size, so I knocked that out! Just need to spray paint my 2x4's flat white...
Took my 6" clip fan, moved it from the back of the cab to more towards the front, and made a stand for it so I can move it up as my baby grows.
Here is a few pics of Mari hen I got her back in the cab... she's littly droopy, probably mad @ me for leaving her outta her house for so long ...:cry:

Few questions foe ya.. :smoke: Now that I have a pump that is bubbling nicely & drilled more hole in the pot, actually drilled more than you see in the pic, went back with a smaller bit and made about 10 more holes.
How did you run your system? I see that you didn't give her any nutes... was that the whole way? I most interested in your watering schedule!
Did you set your system to just come on and water her 3 times a day or let it run 24/7 since it was not dripping directly on the peat pellet in the center of the pot?
I've got so much more air pressure that she gets splashed with small beads of water that bounce of the hydroton pebbles... shouldn't be concerned should I?
What do you think about having the pump on every 4 hours? I want the air running thru the water as much as possible, dont I?
Sorry for all the questions man but your the only person I have met that has a grow under thier belt with this system!!
