Hey willow :) I'm using canna terra myself (first grow) and what I found out the other day (a tad too late) courtesy of Andy Botwin is that peat (the main ingredient in canna terra) naturally lowers the PH of soil so you defo want to have some dolomite lime in there!! Absolutely definitely! I've been waiting a week almost f mine to arrive and all the while my plants are getting more poorly :( it can take weeks t get going aswell so purchase soon as. Unfortunately I'm stuck with below 6 PH until then n there's nothing I can do about it. Good luck with your grow :) Chandy :sharing one:

just had a look at that stuff on line chandy.... how would you apply that?? would you just put it on the top of the soil bed and let it work down threw feeding??:dunno:

Hey whats up man. Just chiming in and getting my couch ready. Got a spliff rolled so I can relax while I watch this grow.

Respect for starting something so ambitious.

Hey willow :) In regards t dolomite I'd have a read of this, 2nd comment especially. I've already dolomited my soil so don't know what's gonna happen t my nippers now.

I find pics on this site a bit of an issue. I find it easier t upload them first then edit post with words. If you do it in advanced it will show preview above so you can check pics are on right order. Bit of a ball ache but that's the only way I can seem t do it with mine without messing it up, lol.

PHing anywhere between 5.8 and 6.2 is fine. Just better t fluctuate between them so they can fully absorb everything...... thats if the info in that link is correct..... which i assume it will be but waiting on the staff t get back t me first.... otherwise that PH would be whack!! lol. That thread is a "staff answer" only thread so you know you are getting sound advice there and not just noobs thinkin they know it all, lol. Although some people dont realise and post there anyways. All staff have a high team badge (although sometimes it doesnt show up) so you know who they are :) The green bars by peoples names give a wee insight in t their level of expertise. Loads o green bars = in the know. one or 2 = not so much. Although thats not always the case as some fessionals might only just have an AFN account.... and some noobs might really know there shit. Anyways dont listen to a wrd until ive confirmed!! lol.

As for your plant..... no idea! lol. Thats whats brilliant about the staff thread. Theyre all really experienced growers and between them all know pretty everything there is t know about growing and all it entails. So id post your pic there :) Also your guaranteed t get a reply where as your journal can get very much overlooked.

Hopefully someone will get back t me soon and let me know whats what :)
