Grow Room 1st PC Grow | Cheese + AK47

Hello all,

This is my very first attempt to grow.
Although I live alone, stealth is still an issue and due to lack of space I chose to build a PC grow box.

I think I am ready to try this. I've been reading nonstop about growing for the last months but I am still very confused about many things and need your feedback.

So, this is the Box I made (common Chieftec server case, dimensions: WxHxD 20.5x65x53 (cm)):





Strain: 2x auto cheese fem and 1x auto AK47 fem into 4 lt pots

Medium: Soil

Veg Lighting: 2x26w 6400k, 2x23w 6400k, 1x2700k CFL bulbs

Water: Filtered water, chlorine free

Ventilation: intake 92mm 35cfm
outtake 120mm 101cfm


Seeds are already planted 1.5 cm deep for direct germination into the containers.
Soil is pretty moist.



Any tips for improvement?

Looks good.

If you get fungal gnats consider buying some yellow sticky traps from Ebay to help control their numbers.

Hi guys, good and bad news.

AK47 has sprouted and it's on day 3 but the two cheese seeds haven't..



Actually one of the cheese has somehow cracked the surface but no seedling yet. It has been a total of 7 days since I planted the seeds. Is there any chance??





And here is a shot of the whole pc grow.
Currently I use the 2x26w 6400k (total of 2938 lumens). Should I add more now?

Good show. I just started a PC grow myself. You got any type of air filter in there? I was able to build one for around 30 dollars but it might be a bit tight in that case.

I think would try to get more light in there. Also consider something transparent to put on top of your pots to generate some moisture to help germinate. The soil looks a little dry in the pic but that may only be the top 1/2 cm. I place clear plastic planter trays on top of my pots - and mist with water if the soil becomes too dry. I do as needed until the plants germ and head for the light.
Also what type of soil r u using?

Oh the Chieftec Mesh fulltower got the same here and my lights are on the way from ebay. (currently runnin a small plant in a small container for the fun)
Looking good so far.
