Been at this grow since 5-6
thought id share the progress of my soil vs soil grow off..
Lights. 2 55watt Cobs

Strain. 2 fantasmo express

Soil. Fox farm ocean forest. Vs
M3 michigan made mix
"Water only"
Started 2 fantasmofrom mephisto on 5-4. Only one sprouted had to start another one..
so one sprouted on 5-6 the other one on 5-10

Fox farm o.f. with general hyd product
Vs Michigan made mix. "Water only"

At first i was very sceptical then as thing progressed i thought i shoud share whats happening in here
So i lost a tag...
So the fox farm is the one that still has its tag
First ones here just getting started in a cup

Topped both at 8th node
Let set for a day or two then did some lst

And that brings me to now. So the one in The michigan made mix. Was 4 days younger and its cought up and passed the one in fox farm.
It appeas the one on ff has a nitrogen toxicity may have been over feed
The m3 one is pretty impessive so far

Nice grow, one thing I noticed is the one on left is more sativa structure and one on right is indica dominant. When doing a comparison grow its best to clone or buy f6 or f7 beans that have been bred to be identical. If not you dont get a true comparison. I personally run happy frog by ff and it starts going calcium deficient at about 40d using water only. OF is good when cut or used in bottom of a lighter mix. Hot soil will slow veg versus a seed starter mix and just transplant to hotter after a week or 2.

Ya thats the only one i had multiple beans left over from filling green house.
I can for sure see what your sayin @STILLSMOKIN i have a bunch of diff genetics from multible breeders in the green house now and See complete difference in some of them
