Started up a new thread for the Testers’ I’m testing 3 Gastro Jr seeds. All three germinated via a 24 hr soak and 48hrs between a wet paper towel and hung in the dark in a zip lock bag.

Week 2
14 days now and moving along nicely. Tent is running hot at 80-86f and put the new T3 humidifier in and set it to 65%. Water only Soil but did add a little vegetable compost from my Loomi. Little bit of wilt on one plant but leafs are upward.

Seems like the warm tent and moist soil are not advantageous conditions. Not sure if this is rot or a soil pest but the taco leaf raised my awareness and was drying back the soil and as I was plucking off a fan leaf to inspect closer the beautiful plant sorta flopped over revealing more. The water on the leaf is a a biological spray to try and help recover and mitigate what appears to be rot. Any thoughts?

Hard to tell from the picture. Do you see any frass or droppings in that area? If a pest eats that much it likely left something behind. But with it right at the soil level and warm/wet medium, rot is a possibility. Is the stem soft around the open wound? If so, id lean towards rot.

Sucks either way
