Hello, after lots of research I've finally got my set-up sorted,


Strain- Caramella auto (expert seeds)

Tent- 80x80x160

Lights - 110w cfl veg light 259w dual spec hps cooltube reflector

Soil - Canna terra pro

Nutes- Canna terra veg and flores, pk 13-14, canna boost

vent- 4'' systemair inline fan

just hope all goes well, i germinated 2 seeds using the shot glass method and the next day moved them straight into 2 gallon pots. the day after had two tiny little seedlings :clap:

plants are now 11 days old
will get a couple of pics up soon

Sounds like you are off to a good start. I am going to get this moved over to the New Growers Forum as it will be better seen there. Throw a few pics up when you get a chance.
Also..do you have a ph meter? It's a must in my opinion. Good luck and take care.

Nice. They look green and healthy. EC meter is not a must, but useful sometimes. No need to worry now, plus you're in soil. It would be more used in Hydroponics. What kind of meter do you have?

Cheers eflow, what strain you growing? Have you got a journal up? Hope yours goes well Mine are almost 2 weeks now and I'm thinking about hitting them with a weak dose of veg nutes any day now, am I right in thinking I should just do a quarter strength first time round?

Yep yep. Always a good idea to start light and see how they like it. You can pretty much always add more, but once you pour it in there is no taking out without a drastic flush. Good luck!

I doing 1 wwa and one akr . Have a g13 blue and a g13 akxnl in the pot due to thinking one was dead.

could someone please tell me if I have this right, when testing ph if it was 7.5 going in and 7.0 coming out, then its sitting somewhere in the middle in the pot.??? and if this is correct what ph should i be looking to hit?

6.5 for soil is what they tell me . Hope this helps . 7.25 is a little high bro.
