day 42. zebedee growing very nice. loads of bud sites. no pics of ermintrude today. shes preetty poorly afer a light fitting decided to fall apart bulb burnt her alot.

here's is question to anyone who has experience to pass on. Should i trim some of the bigger leaves off.? tjought it might let a little more light undr yhe canopy.?

no dont trim, the leaves add weight to the buds and are much more efficent at using light than the buds themselves are. thats why they are so large to catch all the light. the greener it is the more important it is in making buds basically.
also trimming will slow it down as it cant absorb as much light with less leaf area and youll loose weight from that.

thanks Bgrt. the fan leaves are staying then. i asked because some people have surgested trimming as a means for the plant to concentrate on making the buds bigger, but i can see why this is daft. cant grow buds if there arnt any leaves to fuel it.
thanks again for your input. hopefully the buds should start fattening up soon.

good stuff, no worries, it seems like alot trim but i think its a misconception. the fan leaves are like solar panels to power the buds . probably not so bad to trim photos as you can make up lost time before you flip to flower but autos have a limited lifecycle so every day counts.

ive gotton my dates wrong zebedee is actually on day 38. soooooooooo many budsites.

all im doing is watering her from a rain water collecter. which i have noticed has a lot of bead leaves from the trees in it. so i guess its acting as a fertaliser but they get watered every couple of days with this.no idear what the ph is. temps are about 60deg (yes a little cold but im down a light in there and at the moment its the best i can do).

well i hope you can see this in enough detail. but she got burnt pretty badly. there does seem to be new groath from the burn sites so hopefully will still get a nice-ish yield.

zebedee day42. she is growing really well. still only getting 5ml of tomorite per 2 litres of un ph'ed rain water. temps are about 60 deg( bloody cold here at the moment). at the rate she is fattening up i cant see her going much longer than 8 weeks.

well i wasnt gonna post any pics till sat but couldnt resist taking a couple while checking on them. sooooo hope you can make out this cola. she started getting frosty 3 days ago and (i think) shes looking nice. not gonna be the biggest of plants but im more than happy so far. so fingers grossed maybe harvest time in a couple of weeks times.
