Day 26, struggling to understand




Ok, a lil early for an update but I'm bored, So still nothing good to report, actually everything seems to be much worse than the last grow. I was completely under the impression that all the plants got stunted in my last grow because they were started in solo cups and then transplanted to 3 gal pots, well so far nothing in this grow supports that. I started all of them in 3 gal. no trans and compared to the same time frame as last all of these are much smaller. We're at day 26 and they are tiny, the CC is the tallest at 13.5", the WW is a staggering 8", the KK are about 10" and the NL, well she is at about 8" and hasn't done anything since she was chewed on by a dog we're watching, compared to last grow the NL was 21.5", nothing seems right, not only did I start them in a large pot I've been adding a lil grow big which was not used last grow and I've started a lil bit of big bloom earlier than last grow, Hmm... Oh well. Something is better than nothing I guess... I really need to get some LEDs so I can have a perpetual grow so I don't have to wait to start up some new babies when shit like this happens.

Day 28,

Today is day 28 and so far this entire grow is looking like it's not going to be as good as the last, aside from getting chewed on I can't understand why they are so much smaller than the last group even though I took steps to make the grow better. The CC is about 16", the WW is about 10", the KK's are about 11-12" and the NL is stuck, she is still at 8" and I don't see any hope for her, she has new leaves growing but at a very slow pace, this time last grow she was at about 20", ugh, I just switched my light to HPS yesterday and my light cycle today from 24/0 to 18/6

Hey, its never a waste of time, and I've got some Northern Lights, that got of to A bad start, slow growth, the dog munching mine too lol! nothing seemed to be happening. I was about to yank them when the suddenly started growing. If yous are photos, then they can do all kinds of weird things then suddenly grow like crazy. Give them a chance, the worst may be that you'll have to veg them longer. One of my NL is 20" right now and I'm likely to veg for another month. give us some info about your grow, such as soil, nutes temps, ph, etc. maybe we can kickstart your grow!

Day 33

Hey Pop, thanks for stopping in, not sure if you briefed the first post, but I'm using OF soil, the combo nutes (veg big, big bloom, tiger bloom), also molasses, my runoff so far has been steady around 6.4 after putting in 6.5-6.6, and the NL is an auto unfortunately, the Kandy Kush are photos that were sent for free and I decided to try em out.


Hi, ok so there is some slight improvement in the plants, even though they were chewed on they survived but have been severely stunted, The NL which was chewed up the worst has just started to show signs of improvement, she is only about 10" though I was hoping to see what she can do since last grow she got to 37" but out of whack ph caused her to not perform well in the end and ruined her. Not looking good for the Nl track record for me. The WW is about 14", I don't know why she's stunted, she got chewed on but not near as much, she seemed small before that though. The CC which is the biggest is only 20", hmm, she does have some buds starting to develop. The KK's are looking ok, they didn't get chewed as bad either, but again they don't seem very tall for this time frame, they are about 14" as well, I did start them about 4 nights ago ago on the 12/12 light cycle, kinda, I've been putting her outside but maybe it's not enough cause I don't see any change what so ever to indicate sex, not sure how long it's supposed to take before a photo will start to show after changing the light cycle. Well here is a pic of all five and one of the KK sunbathing while lights out for the others. Not much to see, sorry I don't have any personal ones for each, I just don't feel they're worth it just yet. Thanks

Good Morning, Day 41

Wanted to get on and do a quick update. I have had some decent progress of late, the NL is at 21" today, she grew little over an inch yesterday and three inches the day before, although she will still be really stunted at least she didn't die. The CC is coming along nicely, although she is only about 22" The WW is small as hell at 18" but buds seem to be starting to form nicely. The KK are looking good, one is at 21" and the other is at 25", both have just recently starting showing sex, but it took over a week of 12/12 before I saw any signs, not sure if that's normal for photos. That's it, not much else to say, I'm getting anxious because I've been smoking dirt weed again while waiting for this next cycle, ugh caugh caugh ----> Dirt Alright, thanks for checkin this out if you did.

Hey Trapper50cal, thanks for stopping by, I honestly didn't expect the NL to survive after getting chewed to nothing, I won't get to see what she can really do this grow either but def happy she didn't pass on... Yet.

Day 47


Hi, another quick update, The CC is looking nice, still small though at 22", the WW is also just starting to come along, but again she is extremely small at 18", not sure what the hell is going on, they are just smaller than the last grow for no apparent reason. The NL has rebounded back nicely, she is at 31.5" today and although she won't be near as big as the the last one she should still have a nice little turn out. And as for the KKs, one is at 31" and the other is 33" and both have started pre-flower and are coming along nicely as well. Not much else to say. Thanks

Day 52


I think it's day 52, it doesn't look like they have gone 52 days, looks more like 42, oh well. So another update, I was bored, the the CC is still finishing up, she has topped off at 22", so much smaller than the last grow but she is duper frosty, same as before, the CC's seem to be a real resinous plant. The WW is still doin her thing but again she is only 18" compared to 24" last grow, not happy. As for the Nl, I don't know what her problem is, I had ph issues last grow just as she got started and she was way behind the others, and this grow she hasn't shown signs of any ph problems however she is way behind, although in line with the photos yet the photos have started showing trichs and the Nl has yet to show a single trich, almost the same as last, I think it might be this batch of seeds or NL don't like me. Ok and for the KK's, one is at 34" and the other 35" they look nice and are just starting to bud, they just started showing trichs, although the plant is decent height it is just thin, not much too it. Oh well, a couple pics for anyone who's interested. Thanks

Day 57

Hmm, just another update.

Things are slowly coming along, well for the KKs and the NL, the KKs are decent in height but just a straight pole, not too much too em, and the NL is looking like she's not going to produce any trichs, her buds are forming slow-as are the KKs- but have yet to show any signs of trich production where as the KKs are showing some, not a lot, nothing like the CC has displayed since she started showing, incredibly frosty. OK, so to add to that the CC is showing signs that she's coming to an end, even though she still has 2-2.5 weeks left. She looks real nice but on the small side compared to last grow. The WW is the same, much smaller as stated in previous posts, but she is just starting to put on weight, she won't yield too much but she has a great smell and smokes real good. I am having temp problems, today temps got to 95 in the room, no good. it's just too fuckin hot where I live, I'm thinking about putting in a portable a/c unit to help, I would do more fans but seems like a waste when all I'm bringing in is hot air. Also looking for LEDs to replace my HPS, its just too hot. Well, here are a couple pics, nothing special, ignore the big cutout I made recently, during the day I use it to help channel the breeze from the ocean.
