New Grower 2ND Grow Journal - Cream Caramel,White Widow & Northern Light

Woo Hoo, made some small progress today, pretty sad actually, the house as it is is a hostile place with the woman I'm staying with, the house is falling apart, we can barely keep it below 83 deg, where I live is fucking hot!! Most of the time, and very humid. She won't let me grow in the house so I have built a half assed shed like thing on the patio, but temps have been unbearable in the shed at around 90-95. I am in the process of purchasing LEDs to help get the temps down, this should make a huge impact, then I intend on getting a portable a/c unit, I'm poor so this will take awhile, however in the meantime I made/rigged up something to get some cool air to my room, it is next to a bedroom that only get used half the time, so I took some plastic drop cloth(??) & taped it in a circle, then cut out two pieces of wood trimmed to the size of the air ducts and taped them on, then added velcro to both pieces, the duct and the room after cutting a small hole, LOL, ah ha, here is a couple pics, prob gonna get me a lot laughs, or in trouble. hats about it.

Ok, so to update on any progress of my rigging cool air transfer, the temps are around 84 now, it's not that hot out today though, we'll see what happens on those 98 deg days. At night with lights on the temps were perfect, kinda 79 deg. So it has made a huge impact already. Very happy- for now. However, every other day and alternating weekends the room gets used so that has to go

OK, I got one pic but it's yellow and hard to see anything. Plus it's only of the top view of the KK's cause that's the topic of discussion today.... for me. So to recap the KK's were free photo seeds given with an auto order, They both are tall and lanky (I didn't top them) however as their bodily characteristics are almost identical, height, size,shape, their color and resin production are not. One seems to be a little lighter and producing a little bit of resin, the other seems to be darker and not so much resin. Not sure if that's what you call diff phenotype or what, but ones lookin good and the other not so much.

So not too much to add This grow seems to be everything I wasn't expecting. Everything seems to be smaller or shitty like last grow (NL from vision, both grows have not produced anything smokable or even decent looking (yet), where as the others at least look like they are supposed to and smoke like it too) The CC which is showing signs of it coming to an end has yet to show any signs of amber trichs, there is an insane amount of trichs just not amber yet at all, I was gonna chop at day 70-75, hmm,, Ok the WW is still going, still really damn small but looks good, the KKs are new to me so I don't have any prior experience with it, but only one is still showing trichs, I don't understand, they are thin and not much too them either. I found LEDs and have spoken with the manufacturer and if everything goes well I should have them within the month. Not sure if it's a good ratio or not but this is what I'm getting: 8-660nm 2-630nm 2-460nm 2-6500k & 1-IR 725nm if anyone has input please let me know. I'm also adding 2-15w UVB bulbs. If things stay goin well this week... Ok so here are a few pics, nothing special.. Thanks

I lol'ed at your air vent. Your woman would rather have that running through the house than let you stick a few plants in the closet?
Looks like you'll get some decent buds out of there in any event.
What's your lighting schedule? And how far away are the lights? Can you take a pic of the entire setup with the lights?
Are these seeds part of the last batch you bought?
I find your use of white styrofoam odd. Doesn't light penetrate the container, and isn't that bad for the roots etc?

I lol'd at the air vent too, my wife would kick my ass! Your plants are looking good man, you'll get some good smoke off them! I know it's late in your grow but I've always been told it stresses the plants to switch up their lighting all the time, may be why their growth was slow. If you want to put them outside, leave them there for a couple weeks.. the constant change in spectrum and dark periods can be stressful to the plant.
If I were you.. it looks like you have a nice set up outside, I would run some autos outside while you build your grow shed. Get your temps down and get it all set up right, and then start the run.

, however for $2 they have been great, light doesn't penetrate, they are actually coolers 4-5 gal from homedepot, they even come with a lid that I use as my runoff tray. I can also easily add holes throughout for oxygen and LSTing I actually have reg pots and I hate them, huge holes at bottom, seemed much worse.

Yea, she is difficult and makes no sense most of the time. However it does give me more room when needed.
I can only hope, the WW & CC were great, but nothin but issues with the NL
I am on 18/6, supposedly, however my part time job has been chaotic so lately it's been more like 16/8. The lights are about 22-24" away, I had them closer last grow with no issues but this time of year with temps and noticing some sizzled hairs I raised em up, don't really remember what it's supposed to be. And the pic is attached, ones an outside view and the other I just took tonight for you.

They are 3w This is the link, I know they're cheap but right now I'm on a budget and temps are out of control, plus another member has had good experiences dealing with this company -
