just a heads up about the wattage you are using -- make sure you count the actual wattage and NOT the equivalent:

Also I am only running 2 CFLs at the moment totaling 160 watts.
1- 100watt 6500k 1650L
1- 60 watt 5000k 800L

im guessing that you are running (100) 23w + (60) 13w = (160) 46w total?!

this is just so you dont get confused with the actual wattage being pushed out compared to what it is equal to :thumbs:

You are correct on the cfl wattage bro, I've never used cfls before I still don't 100% get it. A 26watt cfl outputs 100 watt of light and only use 26 watts of actual power, but the ladies only revive the actual tru wattage which would be the 26watts. Do I got it bro?

Day 3

What's good everybody!

Lil N.Kush is coming along nicely (I guess). Finally put the check hole in the res lid, ph was 6.4 and ppm was 330 had to adjust ph to 5.6 and ppm was 338. Her taproot is barely poking thru the bottom on the net pot it was hard to notice.

A 26W CFL bulb is equivalent to a 100w incandescent bulb. Most of the power given to an incandescent bulb goes to producing heat rather than light. Thus the CFL is more efficient in its light output for a each watt input. Neither is 100% efficient so neither is putting out 26W of light. They come up with these numbers by looking at the number of lumens the bulb gives out. I will let you read up on lumens, PAR etc.

Day 5

Second set of leaves are starting to really show today and I checked the root growth and that seems to be on a good pace....so I'm happy for her.

I also noticed that with running my tap with the AN PH perfect seems to be may more stable with the ph...my RO would raise from 5.6-6.2 atleast every 8-12 hrs....with my tap ph has been stable at 5.7 for two days!!!! So ill prob jus be going with my tap water from now on.
