New Grower 3xDP Auto Blueberry in a 125/250W CFL SCROG grow

Day 48

Short update, the smell has really started to pick up lately. Once I open the tent it quickly fills the room. There are 2 distinct phenos, #2 and #3 have a fruity smell that reminds me a little bit of blueberry pie with a hint of citrus. #1 on the other hand has a much more spicy aroma a bit like pine tree sap. I also noticed that #3 in particular is very sticky, just lightly touching the bud leaves a sticky residue on your fingers. I think I might invest in some gloves for this harvest.

Buds are starting to swell up.

Close up of one of the smaller buds, looks like winter is coming.

I also noticed this on the main cola of #3. I only noticed it on those two leaves so far, not sure what it is or if it's cause for concern?

Bro that could Use maybe somme.More P/K ...
Maybe she is a lil Hungry ...
Lets ask around but im sure that Phosphorus

She is getting cold there bro nice buds

Beautiful plants, DB - and beautiful shots of beautiful plants!

Thanks! I have to admit though, the camera does most of the job as far as the pictures are concerned :smoke:

I'm pretty sure you're right, I've been quite conservative with the nutes. Now that I think about it I had something similar looking last grow before I realized that the Hesi bloom nutes are split in two bottles, one with NPK and micro nutrients and one with extra PK. I will bump the PK a bit next feed, thanks!

Day 54

As per swampmans suggestion I bumped the PK a bit, feeding with 2/5 of bloom and 2/5 of Phos+. Thanks for the hint swampman!
For the next feeding I thought I saw a hint of burn at the tips and backed the feed down to 1/5 of both again. I'm not sure if that was quite enough as I still see some signs of P deficiency on ABB#3. I will keep an eye on it and perhaps bump the feed a bit next time. At this point in the grow I find it the most difficult to figure out how much to feed. I'm never sure if they have enough PK or too little.
The pH seems to have stabilized at 6.5 in and 6.6 out for all three plants, which I think is pretty good.

The main colas have been swelling up pretty well, I hope the smaller ones still have some swelling to do as they still look rather small.

I thought it was about time for some bud shots.

I think this one might be going for the most frosty title as trichome production has really picked up. This was definitely the saddest looking since the start but it has really started to pick up lately with some nice bud formation.

This one is starting to feel pretty solid. P-deficiency visible on the lower leaves. I also noticed that the veins on the bottom of the leaves have turned purple. Might this also be a sign of P-deficiency or is it only due to genetics?

No the red purple ish stems are usulally genitics man thats a p deficiency you got there. Have you bumped up the feed to half of the recommend dosage? If you havent bringing it up to there should be fine.

I did bump the feed to 2/5 and 3 days later when it was time for the next watering I saw that the p deficiency had stopped spreading so I reduced down to 1/5 again. In retrospect I should have kept the higher dosage. I will bump it back up next feeding time.
The advantage is that #3 is quite a bit ahead of the other two so any deficiency shows up there first and then I can correct the feed for the other two before the deficiency shows up.

Day 60

I bumped the feed up to 2/5 of bloom and 3/5 phos+ at day 56. This seems to have stopped the p deficiency on #3(in the middle). I noticed in the last couple of days that it started showing up on plant #1 (on the left). Plant #1 is also looking quite pale, initially I thought it was some bleaching from the light but now I'm wondering if it needs more N? The last watering, at day 59, I fed at 3/5 of bloom and 2/5 of phos+ to provide a bit more nitrogen and also due to the fact that only the bloom nutes contain the micro nutrients. Last feeding was at pH6.5 in and run-off was 6.4 for #1 and #3 and 6.5 for #2. It has dropped down from 6.6, not sure what that could mean.

I'm not sure how to feed them in the future. Should I bump the feed for all of them, even though #2(on the right) looks pretty happy, or should I start mixing the water separately and give #1 a bit more and #2,#3 about the same or less?

They still seem to be putting most of their energy into the main cola, the other buds look fairly small. I'm wondering if they will put on some more weight. We shall see.

Here you can see how pale the leaves are.
