If it's a 300w LED it's equal to another cob as far as light output goes. Not going to be an epic addition but it may be worth it. The downfall is the extra wattage and heat being 140w at the wall vs 55 from a cob.

I know it's just a back up or I might just put it in to another idea. No matter what I'm all for these cobs due to how much I'm gonna save on the light bill. If my women sees less money, and My plants are eating a lot of light then we're both happy lol

That's the truth. Up front savings is minimal on cheaper lights once the first harvest is weighed up vs the amount of wattage used.

Could you use the Mars for side lighting? I'm guessing it would be too close to the plants?

I might use it for my smallest tent. Honestly I don't want to add any or lighting other then cobs in the tent. But if I feel like one could use a little boost then it's there lol
