New Grower 4 strains under 125w t5 and 400w hps

Hi guys. The plants seemed to like the nutrients, particularly the biodiesel. However, I have some yellowing on the lower leaves. I'm a noob but it definitely looks like textbook N deficiency. My pH meter is reading tap water at 1.7 so I can't test the pH right now until I calibrate this thing. PPM reading @ approx 500 or .7 ish EC. What do you guys think? Am I under feeding, or locking out? Seems like this all started with the vinegar incident. Since then I flushed the medium with tap water which reads 80 ec. No idea on the pH but my meter has read between 7 and 8.

So I had some issues with pH lockout due to using really alkaline tap water (8.x) and trying to save time by storing my nutrients in a 5 gal reservoir with air. When I first add nutrients, it's nice and low (5.7 last reading). Turns out after a day or so the pH goes back up into the 8s. Lesson learned, I'll be mixing this immediately before watering from now on.

Till next time

So I harvested my first plant (Royal Dwarf) yesterday at day 68! I might have been able to eek out a gram or two extra but I'm pretty happy, even though there were supposed to be 5 of these things. I'm guessing between 1/2 and 3/4 oz dry

Smoke report once it's dry and in a jar. I can tell you now that it smells heavenly.

Here's the gang @ day 45.

The new sprouts popped on 2/10/13

And this one sprouted today

That's all for now. I've got the sprouts at about 500 ppm of seedling solution. They got a little taller than I'd like, but the longer stems does make it easier to water them. Cheers.

heya apicalmeristem, nice work bro but IMO ur first plant Royal Dwarf had a couple weeks more before harvest...if u have a better pic of the harvested part it would be nice, aaand helpfull for me since i also grow from Royal Queen Seeds....:D

You're definitely right about chopping her early but I needed something to show my SO since she was getting a little impatient with all the time/money invested. I had a nice flower to give her for Valentine's day :). Sorry, that's the only harvest pic I took. Low yields, but the quality was (dare I say) top notch. Appropriately enough, SO doesn't even like the smoke because it puts her to sleep! Given that this thing almost died as a sprout, I'm happy that it even got me high once. Here's the smoke report: Shit gets you high!
