New Grower 4 strains under 125w t5 and 400w hps

Thanks Si. Best of luck to you with your Berry Ryder. The weights are to prevent me from over-watering and also so that I have consistent moisture for each pellet. Probably seems like an overkill but I drowned most of my first batch of seeds so I had to put in some controls to prevent that from happening again. Also if any beginner wants to duplicate my efforts they can ensure they're using the right ammt of water.

hey dude great idea if it works for you, Another suggestion is when there in pots usualy water every2-3 days or when you feel the pots are much lighter than when you watered them:thumbs:

So I increased moisture to 20 grams per pellet. 16 felt a little dry. That's 5ml of coco and 15 of water for a ratio of 3 to one . When squeezed, only a few drops of water become visible through the pellet skin. Did I overdo it? It doesn't feel soggy.

Awesome man! I'm a coco and go box user and I love it. I let the girls tell me when they are thirsty by looking for that first leaf to go a little wilty. I don't want to make life too easy for them because these girls wanna get bigger and better if you throw a little stress their way. Take LST for example. But you don't want to let them get too dry either. The good thing with coco is its almost impossible to overwater. And with the organic nutes its hard to burn them too. Nothing is impossible however. You'll get the hang of it. They change too as they get bigger so you'll be feeding more often.
Anyway, how was that for some medicated rambling.
You're off to a great start. Green karma your way!

Thanks mate. I haven't grown anything to fruition in coco yet but it seems like great stuff. Love the coco pellets from Hydrofarm. How much mileage do you get out of a go box?

I've been using this box for about 5 weeks on 4 plants average. I use pretty much what they say on the box and its about 3/4 gone. I'm estimating ill have another 6 or 8 weeks before I have to reorder one. It sucks because the cal/mag will be the first to run out...they should make that one of the bigger bottles. So far...amazing results, no issues with pH or any deficiencies. The only thing I learned is to use dechlorinater like for fish tanks otherwise it can drop the pH too far.
