Seems those little princesses consider it particularly smart to grow compact. Compact as compact can be. In any direction.

So time for more of (what I actually deem the most effective training on these plants) some 80s style stretching aerobic:

Yeah baby, stretch baby, feel the pain... no pain, no gain! xD

Actually as I found out quite a while later I did stretch the poor little thing a little to rough and the stem did burst, there was a vertical crack between 2 nodes I discovered later on.

But hey, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. :P

Speaking of strong... did someone let my plants watch some bodybuilding shit on TV for too long?

Last, but not least:
CHEERS to my friend again!

Week #11

I didn't put much focus on the tests seeds I germinated. At this point those two have overpaced the others by a lot.

Curious side note: one of the four Cinderella Jacks finally shows signs of early bloom (in f...ing week 11)... the ways of god are past finding out. xD

Wait! MOMMY? Didn't you say my autos had no time, because they would be done by now, no matter what?

As previously mentioned, the wound I inflicted and just noticed. The vertical crack in the stem. The black stuff is Propolis (mother natures anti-everything bacteria killing antiviral antifungal wonder weapon^^) I used as aid to cure on this poor victim of mindless brutality.

If my plants were the Daltons, the one now top left would be Averell. But, well, better start flowering in week 11 than never... xD

The other two strains now sprint away wholeheartedly:

And finally this week my plants moved into their new appartments:

Now we are already in week 12 for the Cinderellas / week 10 for the two brought out by me later.

Lil' Miss "Good girls don't bloom" finally shows decisive moves towards building some flowers.

The other three Cinderellas are somewhere mid-bloom...

And the ones younger by two weeks power towards the finish line:

The Cinderella's still try to form something like a cubic flower mass. No kidding they're as wide as deep as high... measurments in all 3 dimensions the same. ^^
And they seem to use any space there is (and there isn't any) to pack it with blooms.

So I decided instead of a third lamp above to go for Under Canopy LED strips.

20251106_230422.jpg

Since I bought additional equipment over an extended period of time, one by one, I had to invest ~2h to completely renew my cable management, now all tight in one corner.

(There is yet one flaw actually, I need to elevate my pots away from the Under Canopy LEDs. According underpots are ordered but have yet to come)

My plants are running on really high level now, perhaps risky for a noob, but they still cope with it.
PPFD varies in areas of between 600 and 1200 resulting DLI between ~40 and 80. Temp is 28-30°C (82-86°F), Humidity ~40% resulting VPD of up to 2.6.
I give them drink, a lot, I give them food, a lot, everything... they keep going.
I tuned up their daily feast to an EC of 2.4, they seem to suck that away, soil EC stays at a moderate 1.4. And they now get more than one feast daily.

If I had to give my bet I would estimate the young ones to be finished within 1-2 weeks, more like 2. The Cinderellas at least 3 more weeks, I would bet on 4.
And the Lil' Miss Lateflower who STARTED at week 12? Who knows... ^^

Finally some mouthwatering fotos of the young ones starting to look real tasty:

Ordered myself an USB card reader, so I can now use my little Canon EOS to make photos... makes a little better photos than my phone ^^

at later stages I transplanted the ladies into Superoot Air Pot 7 20l (5.3 gallon).

My sorrow:
Since week 4 or 5 of the grow a battle takes place between me and what should become a f...ing massive FUNGUS GNAT invasion.
Welcome! Hope you drop into Live Stoners.

I love those airpots. So did my plants until I discovered that fungus gnats love them too. All those openings inviting them in. That crop was a losing battle which had a paltry harvest. Nemotodes etc were hard to get at that time.

With regular pots, a nice dusting of diatomaceous earth on top can help prevent infestations.

Enjoy your garden!
