Thanks for the kind words Pal!!....those buds drying were because on the big sativa pheno her top buds outgrew the tent and were getting burned by the light....she got so damn tall so damn fast that after a while even tying them back wasnt helping......robbing most of the light from the rest...so I had to sacrifice a few top buds for the greater good as a whole......thats why I had some drying..they had been pulled on day 54 and after a good dry I ended up getting 17.5 grams of yummy goodness from those tops.....I'll see if I can get a pick up of it dried.Thanks for following!...oh BTW........your nickname you use PAL....my initials spell it out!. my first name is Phil....middle initial is A.....Last name begins with an L!....kinda funny!...lol..:tiphat:

I am not really gonna disagree with ya on that as I have no experience doing it that way...my point was that from my experience switching nutes "early" to bloom did not effect the height of the plant(in DWC anyway)....I was just making a statement that the height was controlled more by genetics and environment than by the nutrients...It could be a whole different ballgame in soil tho.....you could be right about the yield being effected...as I am not a super experienced grower either.....messed with autos about 5 to 6 years ago..in Happy Frog soil and 3 gallon containers mostly outdoors with those......before that it had been all photos.......and after(until this grow) photos as well.........I do appreciate your input on this and will take your ideas into consideration on the next run I have been following your new thread and looks like you are off to an amazing start!...thanks for following mine!....:tiphat:

I have to agree with you there mate ...I switched to bloom on my mazar grow at around day 30 (less than a week after sex) & she went on to filla 1.2m tent .This grow im using grow & bloom together & kind of faded out the grow & faded in the bloom over a couple weeks ,still on 10ml of grow each @ week 6 now buds looking dank man"wg's Cool":smokebuds:

Yeah....in DWC it seems to make no difference (if switching to bloom early ) in height...but like I said....soil could be a whole other story...
and I think that I am gonna try the method your using...the grow and bloom together for a bit then a fade out for the grow.....see if yield go's up or not....thanks for the compliments and for following my thread......and the rep slap"Bailers Booya":tiphat:

I used to....but since I have introduced great white micorrizae and sensizym enzymes, its been smooth sailing......thanks for checkin my thread out:tiphat:

Nice beautiful looking ladies Phillow!! Im attempting my 2nd DWC grow. I did what you did and put my lights too close to the plants and fried them.LOL. I changed my setup. You would have to check it out. I could use some great advice brotha!!

Hey Thanks Ghostryder!!.....I didnt really give them a chance to burn much...as I didn't put the lights too close this time...the freakin big sativa pheno outgrew the whole tent!....Light was as far up as it would go...so I had to take a few tops a bit early for the better of the whole.......I would love to check out your setup!.....you have a link I could follow yet?:Sharing One:
