Indoor 600watt hps easy ryder & russian rocket fuel grow

Day 1:
hey this is my fourth grow, i had a few logs on here before the big delete and im back after a break as i only grow on and off.

im growing in a secret jardin dr100 3.3ftx3.3ftx6.6ft and ill be using a 400 watt mh and 600 watt hps for flower in a cooltube on 20/4.

i started 2 rrf's yesterday in some some 10l airpots with soil i had left over from my last grow amended with some garden lime and perlite and the 4 easyryders will be in biobizz light mix in 5 gal buckets maybe with some perlite and lime if needed but it says its supposed to be around 6.2 out of the bag.
ill use gh 3 part flora once they need it.

its all quiet for now i just have a 35 watt cfl globe till they sprout then ill set up some t5s or use the mh straight till flower. bit of time to decide anyway i might need the mh for heat as its pretty cold around here at the moment.

day 2:

nothing above ground yet but finished setting everything up.
hoped a delivery would come today so i could get on with planting the others but wont be here till monday(hopefully).

anyway its a ruck fan(365m3) through a 5 inch rhino filter with acoustic ducting after the bend. using a lumatek 600(660)w dimmable ballast with a mh 400watt bulb which is mostly just for heat at the moment.

canna muffins will keep me busy till they rise.. :smoke:

What are the hours on the lights? If 20 then 4 that is a lot of power comsumption having a 600 HPS on for 20 hours straight.

hey baldy, yeh i was thinking of 20/4, ill do some calculations and if it seems crazy maybe ill drop to 18, any recommendations are welcome but id prefer to waste a little light/cash rather than have a loss in yield etc. the mh is 400 for now atleast and its a dimmable ballast so if i dont need it i can pull it down with the hps a bit but temps are ok(based on last grow)

Its very neat indeed! infact after seeing this im feeling more and more ashamed of the mess mines in so today is a cable tidy day for me!
I'm sure your ladies will be happy to have all that headroom :thumbs:

theyre alive!

they were slightly above ground yesterday but id call today day 1 for these.
one still has the seed casing on it pretty fully but seems to be cracking open slowly, is it better to leave them dry and brittle in the hopes they crack easier or mist to loosen? itll probably come off either way anyway.
400 watt mh bulb 42" away at the moment.

still waiting for soil to be delivered so the easyryders arent planted yet. a small amount of snow around here has crippled everything so who knows when it will arrive. hopefully today or tomorrow.
