Hi, Some of you may remember a few weeks backs, I started my first grow. It's update time. Im doing a mixed grow, 1 plant inside as a proof of concept on my grow box, and 3 outdoors. I've got Vision's AK-49 bedded. I've religiously kept up on the plants, but the inside plant is doing way different than the 3 I transplanted a week ago from inside to outside.

My semi-pro gardener associate tells me the outdoor plants are sun starved and leggy, just like tomatoes will do sometimes when started indoors. I've cut back the vegetation around the grow site, hopefully that will fix things, light-wise.

The photos are from yesterday, these plants are officially on day 27...

Besides getting more light to the girls, is there anything else I should be aware of/ Do/ Etc. with the outdoor plants?

The more sunlight the better. They look ok so give them some nutes and they should be fine.

First let me say welcome and CONGRATULATIONS on your first grow. They look healthy enough ATM, so take a deep breath and don't panic. I don't know what your "inside" grow looks like..(tent, box, PC, closet, etc.) But I would think that, indoors your light is "captive"... it's in one place, moveable (?) and a finite (known / planned) distance from your girls. Once outside, their new light & food source, the Sun is farther away (duh!!) and all plants will reach for their sustinence. The spacing between the nodes is gonna leg up for a bit as well as the vertical growth until they are adapted to the new surroundings, more in the node spacing than vert growth. If you're concerned about stealth, you might wanna consider LST, (low stress training). Lottsa threads & forums dedicated to the art through-out this site. Good luck with the grow and keep us in the loop. Puff, puff, pass

Yeah, you need more light my friend.. at least 8-10 hours of direct sunlight a day to reduce that stretching. They're looking for a more consistent/hardy source of light. It looks like indoors you're using a HPS which while isn't much compared to the sun.. I'm sure there's no canopy over your plants in the indoor grow. Indoor lady looks super healthy though! Have you got a fan circulating in there?
