Mephisto Genetics A Bum do Mephisto - Heisenberg Special!

Molasses feeds your microbes. Probably not necessary for bottled organics, but if you're brewing a compost tea, definitely.

Oh. Its not? and I was looking forward to using it. :(
This is from BioBizz website,

"Bio·Grow® activates the bacterial flora in the substrate"

and I thought the molasses would feed the bacteria, sorry im still learning all about the soil and organics. :D

when I first started growing I used biobizz grow/micro/bloom and threw molasses at it the last 2/3 weeks.my molasses ran out about 18months ago, dont think il bother getting more :pighug:

UPDATE - 15d old.
They got some 24h bubbled molasses+biobizz grow yesterday along with the 1200w 3000k led.
The led caused quite a bit of heat, it was at about 29c(84f) when i entered this morning.
I added a intake fan and cranked up the pillar fan.

Heres how they look today at 15 days above soil. Cant wait for them to shoot up now.
My apologies for my poor mspaint skills, I dont like uploading directly from my phone. :D
Got some pics of the LED for you to @Atulip :headbang:

Stay safe guys, thanks for reading!
Edit. Do you think they are in phase, size-wise?
When do they usually start shooting up?

Good looking girls, they're loving that light. And yeah, it'll pump out a little heat. 110k lumens means 8 Vero29s @ 2.8A each. 108w each or ~900w at the wall(fans and drivers). Similar heat created as 900w of HPS, without the added infrared lighy heat. It will up the temps of the grow room but should be easy to manage with an exhaust fan. A breeze over the canopy is always nice too. I'd keep it 18"+ mainly to make sure you're getting a good spread.

~1100ppfd in a 4x4, 120° beam angle of the cobs(don't know the lenses specs), 18" height should have your outer rim receiving ~70% of the light of the center. 24" would bump the outer rim up(if the center is too hot), but would add more reflector loss(not a huge deal with this much light. Just estimates here mostly, but I'd shoot for that 18-24" area to maximize your light, and go higher if you need. Now if those lenses are 90°, then 24"+ is where you want to be for even spread.

Wow, you sure know your stuf :D Glad to have you in my thread! I have exhaust fan running, but it doesnt quite cover it.. I think it got to about 27c after adding intake fan.

Yes the light is in the corner of the room right now.
Im gona center and lower it a bit when I figure out where to put these photoperiods gf is doing...

You can raise it more if you're getting heat problems still, its a lot of light lol.

And I'm no expert, I just get fixated on little projects. First it was "let's grow weed in the closet", next thing I know I've converted a spare bedroom to a grow room, then comes diy cobs, and also planning my next project(SoG autoflowers packed in square 8x8x16" smart pots(diy, ~4gal) to maximize use of my space without taking a huge loss of pot size(current 5gal 12" diameter))

Ive been thinking alot about perpetual SOG auto grows to. What pot sizes and strains are you considering?

Custom made fabric pots. 8"x8" square pots and 16" tall. Should still be around 4 gallons instead of my current 12" round 5 gallon pots. Would fit 21 new pots where I currently fit 8.

I want to run Walter Whites this way(when the seeds are back in stock). At ~12 week seed to harvest times that's about one per 4 days in a perpetual setup. But I also want to run other mephisto strains in the same setup. Some chemD, sodk, white n Bubbly, sup OG. Pretty much a little of everything but the main thing I'm looking forward to is that Walter White.

My main thing is packing a little more bud into the same space. Less yield per plant but more overall yield, and better use of space. Couldn't find premade smart pots to fit my size need. 8" round ones only hold 2 gallons, and I didn't want to drop the soil size that much. Square pots will use 100% of available space, and slightly taller ones keeps the soil size high.

Also trying to talk the wife in letting me scout the woods for a nice outdoor grow, but that might have to wait until next year lol. Using that Free Sunlight and all that Free space for 10-20 big autos sounds really nice.
