New Grower A little soil help

So heres my problem. I planted 2 sprouting seeds in Fox Farms Light Warrior, in solo cups. its been 1 day. i was told that autos hate to be transplanted. So, i was told to cut the bottom of the solo cup off carefully, and just plant it 2 inches deep in the new pot full of happy frog(i was told ocean forest is too hot). my questions are: 1)is that cup method a good idea? i saw her vids, and her plants turn out nice. 2)is just straight happy frog ok to grow autos in? I dont wanna spend alot, but dont wanna skimp on my babies either. Thanks AFN!

Welcome Merk. The cup trick works great. Just need to do it before the tap root hits the bottom of the cup. Happy frog works just fine but you said you have light warrior. They can be mixed for a light soil that works great for autos. Its what I did on my first successful grow and it worked great.

Thanks for the reply! did u do a 50/50 mix of HF and LW? i was thinkin of a 2/3HF 1/3LW mix for it. i need to get the stuff in the morning so im tryin to get it situated tonight

I went 50/50. It fed just fine for about 16 days. Then I started in with my nutrients.
