Grow Mediums A-Train needs info on the coco for future run... help a brother out.

I don't do any of that stuff. but that's cause I can get the bagged stuff.
I have used the brick stuff before. If I were doing it again I would follow directions on brick or rehydryate as suggested, by the others. I add cal to every rez so I don't precharge.

I agree with @Roark on this one ,the loose coco in the bags should be ph buffered and rinsed( not saying all are) ,so they save a few steps,time and water( but also cost more), most bagged stuff will have pearlite and this is for added aeration which will require more frequent watering ( this allows the media to be "oxygenated" more often) ...the bricks are fine to run straight,with no pearlite and I have done it this way on occasion ..sure you already know,but always water the coco with nutes( even if it's a lower amount) never straight water( till flush) never let it dry out,,and if your going with a drip system lower the ppm/EC..hands down the best coco thread I've read is from @Truu ..peace

I have an autopot system on hand and I'll be switching over on my next run. I soaked my brick today then filled the 3 pots I'm using and flushed them just to be safe. Then I mixed in perlite somewhere around a 70/30 mix.

I'll be hand watering daily for the first 2 weeks or so then turning on the pots and just managing the res

Sweet can't wait to see. Not hijacking your thread but what nutes do you recommend for a perlite/verm hempy thinking about putting in an order. fox farm ,general hydroponics or advanced nutrients or technaflora recipe.

Yeah man, I soak the brick in regular water when it's all fluffed up I drain as much water I can then put the lid back on till needed. When needed. I'll load the pot and mix up full strength of voodoo and cal mag I save Grow A&B and b52 for the first watering after she sprouts and drys out some. Then I will run my phd ro water through the pot till clear then some more for good measure. then I flood the pot with the solution. At this point, I drop the bean in water and 24 hours later I place the bean in the pot.

Ok I'm reconstituted and mixed in 30% perlite. It'll be a min before I precharge but your saying full strength cal/mag and vodoo and a mix og b52 and Sensi also?

If you want to keep it easy, General Hydroponics. Get their FloraNova series, or Maxi series. Each of those are fully complete fertilizers. They have ph buffers and everything needed to keep it simple. Flora is the best fertilizer available. NASA uses exclusively, and it is the only fertilizer that is patented. GH is based in California, home to the best weed on Earth. @islandgrower

Hope you figured it out, brother. But either way, you will be fine.

I have done both ways as far as using Sensi and b52 when I did, I did it at 1/4 strength and always used full strength cal mag and voodoo. I haven't noticed a difference when pre-charging with or without Sensi and B52. Just make sure with every watering you do you do it with the Sensi.

So far I have watched @Hansbricks work so I plan to pre charge 1.5L in each pot they will be mixed with voodoo and cal-mag @1ml/L I have piranha on hand as well I may put a bit of that in as well to add to the root system.

The first water after the next feed will be .5ml/L grow, micro, bloom and 1ml/L voodoo and cal-mag.

You guys see anything wrong with that?
