Wow, Sniper, Dub, Piggy, Stone - it's a trip down memory lane. Can't wait to catch up on what everyone has been up to. I'm so out of the loop especially on all the different strains and hybrids. My box of beans from Wiz circa spring 2012 seems like 'old tech' now.

I wondered a number of times about you.
Sorry, you have an "ex" now, but it isn't easy for two people to stay together for the long haul.
Don't worry about the "new tech". In my opinion, nothing has "changed the game". The Newer models of everything electrical are probably somewhat better than the older models and there are always new strains of cannabis to try, but so far, to me it is just different strains, not necessarily "better" strains.
I will say that the Fero Leds have captured my attention (see Muddy's Hydro grow) as lights go. But I am saving nickels to see for myself!

Let's see...Purple AK "Dancing Psiren", which I grew into a monster last time & I'm still enjoying, Duurty Dragon, Magic Dragon, Bad Betty. Got some Spirit 51 also, but I think those came from Rip. And dozens of my old faves from Short Stuff, WoS, and others. At least I don't have to go hunting for seeds. :dance2:

Good to see you, gtron. No worries about the split, it was a long time coming. I'm on a MUCH better path now and my kids are doing great, which is the most important thing. Good point about the new tech. I know I can drop some beans in the dirt and harvest some prime bud using the same methods I always did. You guys know I was all about keeping it simple as much as possible, and I'm going the same route this time. I am in a new place but dealing with the same issues as before. Not a ton of space and I have to be concerned with keeping the heat down since I can't easily use air conditioning. LED has me interested just for that aspect if nothing else. But I'll still be McGyvering together bathroom fans and other shit if it means saving a buck.

It's been a couple of years and a hell of a lot of personal turmoil, but I'm finally back in the saddle. Maybe I'll tell more of the tale later, but long story short I had to completely shut down the operation and go underground due to some craziness with my now ex-wife (thankfully no legal issues). Actually I had to lay off cannabis for over a year due to work stuff but I'm back now and looking to get a fresh crop growing. Other than my seeds and a few small items like pH testers, I'm starting from scratch, so I'll have to spend some time checking out the latest and greatest gear. Thankfully I had a couple of pounds from my last grow and with careful storage and lots of humidity packs, it's still just about as flavorful and potent as it was when I harvested a year and a half ago:
