I'm using a 2' T5 with 4 bulbs (2 veg/2bloom) that puts out 8000 Lumens. Carbon filter that pushes into an S&P inline fan. There is a 2" passive intake out of the middle back of the box with a couple PVC elbows directly to fresh air. I believe I have a good air exchange going on.
I have 4 Autoflowers. A Northern Storm, a Lemon Haze Auto, a Sour Diesel Auto, and an unknown auto. All feminized. Unfortunately I don't know which plant is which because I'm a goddamm idiot and got my labels mixed up.
Some questions:
Is that T5 gonna be enough to take this to finish? I keep the light about 2 inches above the plants.
I just fed them today for the second time with Fox Farm veg. I put a 1/2 teaspoon into a gallon of distilled water and used almost the whole thing on all four plants. Water drained through the drainage holes just a bit. I've been using the weight of the pot by feel method and it's been working out to about a watering every 3-4 days. Am I giving to much or to little nutes? Do the little bright sprouts mean it's time to switch to the Fox Farm bloom nutes I have or are these simply new leaves forming?
Today prior to watering I noticed they had developed some yellowing leaves towards the bottom of the plant and a few isolated very small yellow patches on a couple higher leaves. Also the leaves looked a bit dry. Is this par for the course as the begin flowering?
Any tips for lowering my temps? It's generally hot where I live and even though I'm getting a good air exchange but my thermometer has hit 87 before but usually stays in the 80-85 range. I'd prefer not to put another hole through my wall to the outside of the house and adding another passive vent to ambient air would only pipe in stale hot air.
I apologize for any formatting f-ups, or if the images are placed poorly, this is my first post here. I love what you folks have built! It's been a terrific resource. Thank you for having me and any advice you might offer.
