OK new around here and do not wish to contradict in any way but...
pH
"It is difficult to give an exact definition of pH. A couple of simple descriptions offered are, "power of Hydrogen" and "potential Hydrogen" ion concentration. Neither are perfect descriptions. Both present a way of remembering the significance of "p" and "H". Simply stated, pH tells us whether a solution is acid, alkaline or neutral. It does not tell us how much acid or alkali is present." "The exact meaning of the "p" in "pH" is disputed, but according to the Carlsberg Foundation pH stands for "power of hydrogen".[4] It has also been suggested that the "p" stands for the German Potenz (meaning "power"), others refer to French puissance (also meaning "power", based on the fact that the Carlsberg Laboratory was French-speaking). Another suggestion is that the "p" stands for the Latin terms pondus hydrogenii, potentia hydrogenii, or potential hydrogen." wikipedia
DWC
"Deep water culture (DWC) is a hydroponic method of plant production by means of suspending the plant roots in a solution of nutrient-rich, oxygenated water. Bubbleponics is a related method of plant production that involves a top-fed deep water culture system. A more accurate definition for the acronym DWC is Direct Water Culture. Direct Water Culture can be performed in deep or shallow water." Wikipedia
At any rate, both definitions of the acronyms are correct and truly as long as we understand what they actually are and mean to us as growers is all that matters in the end. Potayto Potahto and all that!!

Lol yes i see why mateOnce we get a good list of acronyms, ill edit the thread and get the all in one big list for easy access
Thanks pal, that would be real cool. Dont wanna heap work on ya tho' but betweenus I am sure we could make a very useful list.
