So I'm pretty far in on this grow and now I'm ready to start feeding some Co2 to my girls. The White Cheese got stunted and will have a low yield but wow does it look and smell potent :) The Kandy Kush and the Random Female Clone are now showing some hairs and I was wondering whats the best alternative to feeding them co2 other than the expensive machines? 20130718_200615.jpg20130718_200647.jpg20130719_171053.jpg20130724_081913.jpg20130725_082141.jpg

I don't think co2 will help you that much.Your plants look just fine and as long as they get enough fresh air thats all the co2 they need

I use a 5 gal bucket of yeast and sugar. I don't know if it will spike your co2 that much outside I use it primarily to add "fresh" air to my room. In any case its super super cheap. Like 6 bucks every two weeks or so... you can stretch it longer. And I know it works.

I use champagne yeast because it will ferment the longest (reaching a higher alcohol content before it is killed.) and baking cane sugar. It's not worth it to use expensive sugars. Attached to the lid is an air tube that is in a drilled hole using hot glue to seal it up. The air tube sticks down an inch or two inside the lid. If you feel squirly go to a nearby restaurant and get a pickle bucket or something of the sort, they will probably just give you one. These have a rubber gasket and seal a lot tighter than the traditional 5 gal. Mix a pound or so sugar and a packet of yeast, too a half full bucket of warm water... stir and close up. I have the air tube going to the back of my fan.

I dunno about outside also because if bacteria gets in the bucket it can kill off the yeast and stop the process. You will have to create a water lock, which just acts like a bong for the air tube, not letting any outside air in the bucket.

That's my cheap co2 solution.:peace:
