Old Reviews Advanced nutrients Big Bud, is it worth the money?

I have done grows using several products (fox farm and seagrow) have always had decent plants, but to me the extra price you pay for AN is well worth it for a noob to get their feet wet... It's basically fool proof growing... Like pain by numbers... The ph buffers are for me what I like the best of the product as I hate mucking around getting my ph proper before feeding... And the reason if your using AN you should stick to AN products or the other products may
mess up the ph perfect buffers... Not saying it's gospel but for a noob it's best to keep things KiSS.
Im currently doing a coco run using an new coco line and they seem to be doing quite well, will also be trying the canna line up soon... Good luck with your grow brother :karma Cloud:

I'm happy with this grow I just finished and for my second grow I think I will get close to gpw of bulb size (600). There could be other reasons to why I'm getting a respectful yield, I'm not saying it's because of big bud but I'm sure it helped. The buds felt fuller. .. like they had more consistent inside (compared the my first grow) I will definitely buy it again. Will try some more products next run. Little at time.

No I haven't, but I have grown some serious trees :pighug:Do you really believe that only AN can produce decent plant nutrient! Not saying that AN produces bad products just saying there overpriced for most amateur growers! Most people here on the forum are nice people but don't even know the basic fundamentals about decent growing!

And Tang if you honest you would say that you could use other additives and also grow large plants( there are other products on the market than only bloombastic)

you said that AN was over hyped and over priced, how can you come to those conclusions when you have never used them? i never said advanced nutrients are the only company to produce a decent plant nutrient, you can't make assumptions on something you have never used!! thats like me saying HPS or MH lighting is crap when i have never used them!! i also have tried other nutrients and found that AN blew them out the water. IF you have grown some serious trees i would love to see them and find out what nutrients you used!!

same here bro, i tried with biobizz on my first few grows and then slowly switched over to AN, the difference was unmistakeable. the two boosters i would highly recommend for starting out would be big bud and overdrive, those two products are top notch in my opinion

im advising the original poster to use AN additives with the AN range he already has if he were using Bio Bizz I would advise there additives.

when you have done a grow with AN I will understand your criticism until then I don't.

I ran back to back grows with Hesi and then AN. For me the AN produced 30% more yield and quality was the about the same. Im curious to try other brands but Im now very comfortable with the AN line.

The only thing that pisses me off with AN additives is trying to unscrew the lid on carboload!

I have an outdoor grow of Easy Ryders and ordered AN's Big Bud only to realize that it was formulated for hydro and indoor cultivation. I contacted the company who promptly replied that it was also suitable for outside as well. Well I am near harvest and it looks like I am going to get a yield far greater than the suggested amount on the ER's profile. So I am good with Big Bud!
