New Grower Advice wanted. Short Growing Fast Flowering Auto Strains

Hi.

I am planning an autoflower grow and looking for advice on which strains to select.

I will be growing under a 300w cfl so thought it best to select strains that grow short (about 50 cm) due to low penetration of the cfl and would also like to select strains that flower fast (seed to harvest in 60 to 70 days). As I hear some autoflower strains can take up to 100 days.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Heres what I have in mind

hobbit automatic kannabia
Short Stuff - Himalaya Blue Diesel
Kannabia - Kritic 70 Automatic
Barney's Farm - Pineapple Express Automatic

Any Ideas on those. Or other suitable options that might be a better choice.

Also. Would four plants be ok with a 300 watt cfl. In four litre pots.

I grew a couple flash cobras that finished under 70 days and they're cheap and super dank :thumbs: The 300w's would be better for 3 plants but you could squeeze 4 if you really wanted to. Welcome to the site

Thanks greenthumper. The cobra looks good. Maybe a little tall but I will Add it to the list. I saw your smoke report and it looks worth considering because its still quite short and fast to harvest.
I was planning on growing three - four different strains at once. One of each. Will go with three plants I think. Probably better to give them space than try to pack four in there.

Any more suggestions from anyone would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site treebeard! Quick question about your CFL, is it an actual 300 watts or is it equivalent? When dealing with florescent lights one should always refer to actual wattage to avoid confusion.

Fast flowering strains are convenient, but keep in mind that you need to add a couple of weeks to grow times listed on most auto packs....They tend to fudge the finish date
Those two extra weeks are worth it though, trust me on that

Thanks people. I might go with the pineapple express. Himalayan blue deisel and the cobra. Then I know that I will have at least two decent strains.
The Pineapple express looks like a good plant but quite a low yeilder. I found it at pickandmixseeds. Its from barneys farm so hopefully it will be good.
Hopefully I will be able to get a grow diary up once i get things going. I will be ordering the seeds on wednesday.
It will be my first grow with a half decent setup. Done two or three ghetto grows in the past. Hopefully I will finally be able to ditch the dealer. Twenty quid for half an eighth nowdays.

The cfl is 300 actual watts. Thanks for that. I got it on ebay for sixty pounds with a reflector. I will take a look around the new growers section. Thanks for that. And the advice about the flowering times.

I hope to have a perpetual harvest setup eventually. When I can afford the lights. I will get one more reflector with a blue 125w cfl and a 200w red cfl. then move them to the 300w cfl after four to six weeks. Will have that all in a one meter grow tent. But for now I just have the 300 watt cfl in the grow tent.

I still need to get the carbon filter but will do the first two weeks with an old diy pc fan carbon filter i had in a pc tower grow.

I have done critic 70 many times.I would stay away from it ,because they are a larger auto strain.They also take about 75 days to finish.Now the hobbit would be a great option.About 50-60cm tall finished in 63 days.Smelled of strawberrie candy and tasted sweet!Great plant.
