Hi Treebeard, I too am new to this forum but have been browsing for a while and found it a great source of info. I'm coming to the end of my 1st ever grow, i went for 4 plants: 2 polar express, 1 Blue mystic auto, and 1 pineapple express (Barney's farm) It's been an education for sure, i've had highs and low throughout the grow so far, the highs being watching the girls take shape and grow (coming from someone who hasn't grown anything in his life before, and even managed to kill his daughter's cress she brought home from school!) the lows being the various problems i've had along the way which have afffected my plants. I'd reccomend the pineapple express from Barney's mate, Out of my 4 plants this one is in the best shape despite being alot smaller than the others, it lagged behind in growth and i was quite worried about the size of it but now it is budding better than the others and covered in crystals. I've been growing in a DR60 tent and chose what i thought were smaller plants, however the plants growth surprised me and it's gotten a bit cramped in there, so next time i'm going to stick to 2 plants at a time, so if you're going for 4 mate make sure you've got the room! I've been using 250w MH and 250w Dual spec HPS, The Blue mystic was advertised as being a particularly short strain but is now practically touching the light, i've had to tie it to one of the tent poles to avoid scorching it. @midman4u was intersested in the Hobbit before i started this grow think i'll definately give it a shot next time out .
