My confusion w/ this type of Vape is how do you keep the weed from falling into the unit when you turn the mouthpiece over to insert it or is it supposed to fall into the hole and then get dumped out once done ??

I can understand your concern, but hey no need for that my friend.
Just pack the "bowl" kinda hard and then turn the whole unit around and put that on your mouthpiece and turn it again and suck...lol

I think if one packs it really full it can fit about 0.3 grams but yes you can pack it mor airy then that and you will get better airflow but the bowl will last a shorter amount of time thats why i like to pack it full. When/if you pack it to the max it can take a few hits before you get some vape from it because the air struggle to get thru, but after that its a smooth ride again.

Excellent review man, I have one of these units and absolutely love it.

I like to pack it a little loose, I find the taste is pleasant from start to finish. Whereas if packed tight, the last draws at setting 7 aren't as flavourful but still decent.

Yup i agree...the last draws can be harsh so I also have start to pack it loose.

I like this unit because of the flavors so why not try to get the best flavors for as long as possible.

I have the Solo vape an is nice--easy to take around. Heats up in a minute or two an get nice hits from it. I just put a small bud piece in stem about half full (don't grind) an hits really good.
I have a new SSV an haven't used my Solo in awhile now. I think it is one of the best portable vapes on the market & I looked at/watched vids on all the top ones. I got mine new for $145.00 + free shipp.

Turn the Solo upside down--stick stem in an ready to puff!
Same when you empty it--if anything is left I just swab with a q-tip.
