Package was in that plactic silver bag, and It was pure luck they didnt open it, coz they open almost everything that I order from chins, and all of you smarties, you Dont live in Balkan you dont know the laws,they can harrast or indict you even for seeds... And for company who is active on all canna forum this is very irresponsible.. And you can bash me all day long,but I'm happy I'm not in police station right now.

So the package was not tampered with, did not say "Specialised nutrients for growing cannabis", nothing, so do explain your problem as opening the package would have revealed the offending nutrients, WITH THE SAME LOGO, ETC, on it and would have left you in as much shit as you are saying a piece of paper would.

As I say, your paranoia is unjustified in this case and, as also said, if you are so paranoid about getting caught then it might be best you stopped growing and consuming before you stress yourself into an early grave.

Just generalizing on what to expect through experience.
If you are worried I would always contact the sender and request stealth shipping.

I get where he’s coming from. He’s in a country with horrible laws and doing something he can get in big trouble for. Here in the US something gets snagged by customs u get a letter and that’s it. Perhaps in his country they can come to your door for trying to get packages through. And a “oh it’s just for veggies” may not work when they search his house. Perhaps knowing u live in such a place u should make sure companies know the deal. U have to be proactive don’t expect all companies to be aware or think of this as they also probably have a lot going on. Not trying to put blame on u at all but it’s your ass if you get caught so be careful and be in control. Always contact companies and chat about shipping. If I were u I would start saving money and try to relocate. I am in this process also as my state is horrible but not as bad as yours.

"If you're worried than ordering something MIGHT lead to suspicion falling upon you, DON'T" as I live in a land where, also, marijuana laws are absolutely retarded (I have to break the law to use CBD as it is an extract from ANY form of cannabis) but the reality is that even IF they intercepted a bag of nutes they would do absolutely nothing as it's simply not worth the trouble even if they had any evidence of growing. Should I order 50 bags, then that will attract attention due to it being, obviously, for a more "commercial" role.

So if in doubt, DON'T and source suitable nutrients and compost locally.

And don't blame a company for including the information it is legally bound to include, called the composition of the contents, as anyone buying these things has to be aware of the laws in their specific country/state and decide on whether it is worth risking buying something that could attract unwanted attention.

Yeah that's why ALL seed companies who send seeds abroad do it stealth..
Every person with little common sense specially in canna business MUST now that she is very illegal in rest of the world, hell it's still illegal in most US states, and still do such a fuckery???

Seed companies use stealth shipping because shipping seeds is typically a grey-area in terms of legality (and we know they occasionally checked for and considered contraband, and often times those are several hundred $ orders.) Shipping nutrients is typically NOT. So for them to have shipped you nutrients with information on the INSIDE, that's quite common and normal. You assume inherent risks if you are growing illegally; that's why many people have items shipped to a friend, family, etc (with permission of course,) if they are in illegal places. Your mailman is a busy guy too, the amount of dildos and weird sex things he's delivered over the years, I'm pretty sure your grow light and nutrients isn't going to cause him to deviate from reading steamy love letters through thin envelopes in the sunlight. ​

Pretty much what I said but quieter lol. When I bought my first lights online I contacted the company to make sure the box wouldn’t say grow lights all over it. Or anything of the contents.

And that wouldn't change a thing had they decided to open the package, same as with seeds, same as with anything as the worst I've had was a sticker on a package saying "does not conform with standards under TFEU" as I bought an e-cig thing with an 8.8ml tank whereas the maximum allowed for sale in the EU is 2ml.

But I've had packages marked as "grow led" and, tbh, there's not a thing they can do about it as that does not prove any illegal activity and this is a country where "Douane" have been clamping down on such dangerous substances such as CBD oil, intercepting deliveries and actually forcing others to stop shipping to here. Yet it would not stop me ordering up anything as I know the risk does not sit with the supplier but with me, I can't blame someone else for doing nothing that actually attracts attention to my "misdemeanours" as opening the package would result in the same, in this case, as the internal packaging, delivery note, etc, will still give the game away even if the offending piece of paper wasn't there.

nobody is bashing you. and we understand you live in a country that will throw you in jail. people are just saying if you grow you take a risk. I have been growing since 1965. and for many years did so illegally. a risk well taken!

To be honest, I tend to agree with the OP that all manufacturers of canna products ought to be more sensitive to. GLN could have easily made there bag free of cannabis imagery. I live in a US state that is still on the extreme anti-canna side - I appreciate the need for discretion. Folks like @archie gemmill , @Maria Sanchez and the @OP live in countries where the police are much less burdened with procedural restriction than in the US.

Canna product manufacturers need to understand that we don't all live in California or Spain. that the little things matter, and that a 'cool' trendy logo that sells in Colorado might cost me my freedom in Texas. Sure, I know the risks. Sure I choose to do what I'm doing freely. Still, why risk losing a customer to the penal system if a simple logo change could prevent it?

The weed industry is in its infancy, and everything they are doing is new and untested. Its up to all of us - growers, users, and producers - to establish the baseline standards that will become the new normal as the legalization trend continues. Starting by having canna neutral packaging is an easy step that will not only make us a little safer, but will ultimately help with the image of the canna industry among the voting public.
