However, and this is just personal, I despise companies that make you contact them for a quote because you know they are going to hard sell you and the price will scare you......

I'll give you my opinion. Fluence and Horticultural Lighting group make THE best lights on the market today. The ones in the link are good, but still not top shelf. Get a quote from them, then i can tell you what they are worth and what they compare to.

Fluence has probably the best literature on lighting of any manufacturer I've ever seen. I quote it constantly. It's fucking awesome. And pretty verifiable. I love their content!

Fluence is def the front runner as they are located in Austin which is still home base til I get moved all the way up here. So for convenience of being literally 7 minutes from my house and their high standards I think that is where I am going to start. It might be out of the budget for the first prototype but at some point I think the LAG will have fluence gear I them.

I agree I built 2 lights as close as I could on there overall fixture and had I had the cash would jave bought 1 I really hope to afford 1 in the next yr. But how well would they work in a hybrid grow like this I wonder do I smell a side by side LAG test lol

I think they will work great. I mean I don’t know diddly about leds but from everything I have read and heard people say they are top of the line
