Any help greatly appreciated!

Have u ever seen splits in a stem like that?

Can't say that I have really taken note of such a condition before, but this could be the result of overly rapid growth. If so, it should scar over and not be a problem. Risk does increase as you are providing a mode of entry for little trouble makers. @Waira have you ever seen this before?

Take a slice of raw potato about a 1/2 inch thick. Take the potato slice and lay on top of the soil and just kind of work it in a little. Leave it alone for 24 hours. Look on the bottom of the potato that was face down on the dirt. If you are infested very bad, you will see larva on that potato.
Slices are worked in the soil, time shall tell. :smoking:

I feel you @Heavily Medicated my first grow had a severe infestation of fungus gnats. They were in the roots organics bag I ordered online, and it was hell getting rid of them. They killed 2 of my plants then i got it under control. I think everything that could go wrong went wrong the first time haha. In some ways i was thankful for that experience! I bought every gnat killer known to man haha.

I have seen slits like that on other plants, if they are in a growth spurt and sustain damage that can happen. It also resembles freeze damage on a woody perennial. I am staying tuned to find out what that is!

I literally sit there waiting for them to hatch to catch them. Im about to return this unopened bag of soil I have and get my 30 bucks back. I mean it's not that bad so far...

Today is day 10, they are growing fast.

Maybe it's just my eyes but they look light green not that dark green color.
