WooCommerce has some interesting integrations for payment options (I've worked with it a bit and it's pretty well known and trusted.) I would beef up on the security side though. We're kicking around a 3rd party site to sell AFN & vendor swag on (not seeds though, that's a different animal.)

The joys of a website without seeds... you’d be alright with square space or Shopify if you’re just selling regular merch.

I think we’re sorted anyway now and fingers crossed the new site will begin to be built next week

Square gave us the finger, actually. We were extremely open in communication with them about what we did (and didn't do,) and they said "yeah we're actually okay with that." One transaction later, they suspended our account. Credit solutions exist but everything is considered high risk (we get to bank like the porn industry!)

Maybe you’re being too honest for your own good : ) at the end of the day from what you described it’s merchandise and nothing more.
