Here is a little model dwc/bubble ponics system to entertain me and serve as a breeding centre!
While I have successfully grown out canna using aquaponics it's not really recommend as the high N value and missing trace elements make it very intensive during bloom.
With a regular aquarium and a few fish serving as the res I simply cut the bottom out of a suitable sized tent, some Clay balls in a basket and an air stone underneath along with a Halo feeder..
