Okay here's the breakdown... we're at day 15 from germination.
  1. Water nute pH 5.8.
  2. 18 / 6 light cycle.
  3. Tent temperature 78 degrees
  4. humidity 60%.
  5. Light 36in from canopy. 800watt cob led (actual power 215 watts)
  6. Feeding Remo nutes one-quarter strength of MagNifiCal, Micro and Grow.
  7. Growing in coco/perlite 70/30 (second run) in 3 gallon cloth pots
  8. PH run off is 5.8 to 6.0

Based on the pics below, what am I missing?

@Waira possibly?

Strange do you have any gnats flying around?
Nope! I've looked at the underside of the leaves with a magnifying glass and nothing. The symptoms are completely opposite of a nitrogen deficiency. So I'm completely stumped. It appears to be growing okay though.

Can you get pictures in natural lighting?
Absolutely but it's dark now so I'll have to do it tomorrow in the a.m. I'll post the picture here.

:toke: ... it's the pale color that you refer to? I think if the pH is good in-pot, then it's a nutritional thing,.. 1/4 strength doesn't tell you much about the actual amount of stuff going in, only a TDS/EC reading will do that... I don't know the NPK#'s on Remo, though they aren't very high I'm betting, so 1/4 may be too weak,... a more remote possibility is the coco is not well rinsed and CEC buffered, basically a bad batch, which happens on rare occasion,.. this means more Na may be around than is healthy, as it become toxic at low levels,... But I'm betting this is just lack of enough food, so up that to 1/2, and get me an EC/ppm reading... for coco, I think around 5-600 ppm for seedlings is fine,....

Thanks so much for your your input... hugely appreciated!

So here is a breakdown of my nutes, ph and ppm in all phases of my grow.

Water strait out of tap: 7.5 ph and 125 ppm (not sure what scale it uses)

Water/nutes at watering time 5.8ph and 430 - 470 ppm

Remo Nutes

  • MagNifiCal - Nitrogen 3%, Calcium (chelated) 2%, Magnesium 1.3%, Iron (chelated) 1%
  • Micro - Nitrogen 3%, Soluble Potash 1%, Calcium 1%, Boron 0.02%, Copper (chelated) 0.05%, Iron (chelated) 0.1%, Magnesium (chelated) 0.05%, Molybdenum 0.0005%
  • Grow - Nitrogen 2%, Phosphates 2%, Soluble Potash 5%,Magnesium 1%, Sulfur 1.5%, Boron 0.02%, Manganese (chelated) 0.05%,Zinc (chelated) 0.05%
Enzyme Komplete - 4ml per gallon

- At half strength for the nutes (5 ml per gallon each of Magnifical, micro & grow) the ppm is 430 - 470.
- The water/nute PH levels at feeding time (after phing the solution) is 5.8
- Run-off ph is 6.0

Hope this helps :smoking:

But you can see via the pics below that she is praying to the light gods so I am pretty sure she is rather happy - at least in part. I have always sen the opposite in other plants (darker green veining and lighter on the sides of the veins but never the opposite.)

NOTE: I use lemon juice to ph down.

Thanks @Waira and @DABaracuss for helping me out.

how far away are the lights? it's a common misnomer, this "praying" to the lights,... in fact, it's the plant telling you the light is a bit too intense; they deal with that by angling the leaf up so the light hits at a steeper angle, less directly,... seedlings need less intense light! ....20-24" is fairly typical for strong lights.... this could be why they are a bit pale....
