Lost three mods in my light in the last three weeks.I replaced one last week and then another one went out so I called them and was waiting on anotheone. Then this morning another one went out so I talked to Jerimie and he said it is rare to have that happen so he's sending me one or two extra mods out.He said there new light will be soldered by a machine so this problem shouldn't happen.Anyone else lose a light or have problems let us no.

I would bet a large percentage of Chinese made lights will have a problem in the first few years bro luckily GN give a 3 year warranty and good support but you can bet there are other company's with less warranty or worst won't or can't honor it. I've had a couple go over the last few years but they have quickly been sorted. I bet Chinese manufacturing quality had a big roll with GN wanting to go it alone.

Seems you lost another 2 modules since you used a power drill to undo the allen head bolts when you changed the first one out?
Sure you didn't nip a cable before you stripped the threads?
And if I did have a problem with one of my lights why post on AFN and not contact Gn?
Take it you still got the hump over the 110v conversion!

Hey nam, I am no LED person by no means but I am an electrician. That seems like an awful lot of loss and was wondering if you have any problems with other electronics in your home? Possibly ambient noise in audio equipment or some funky lines in your tvs from time to time? A lot of people have power conditioning problems especially if you are a good distance away from your substation or your electric company is still using outdated transmission equipment.

It may be worth the money to purchase a power conditioner for your sensitive electronics, especially your lights if you rely on them heavily, to clean up the wave and absorb any noise or surges. Just a thought that may help you out in the long run. I know LED lighting are very susceptible to damage by voltage and current variations. From what I have read anyways.

Best of luck with your light problems!

Same thing happend to me. First one broke down, then i got a new one but it was the wrong model. They should send me the right one but that one never came and during that time asked if I could use my lights with only 5 lights working... no problem was the answer. The two new lights went out...so 3 of 6 was out. They told me to send in the whole unit to them so they could check it out but then the police came and payed me a little visit and took my led away....
I dont think the police will fix it and give it back tho...lol

Hey man.
I think it is really important that not only praise a product on here but also let people know when things go bad. All the facts about a product should be available here...I think.
