The plants are more flexible when thirsty, and take it slow bud. Thats really all the advice I can really give ya lol sorry bro. Look up stunted, dude is an lst GOD!

Step 4. has more to do with apical dominace that available light.

Apical dominance in a plant is where vertical growth is dominant over lateral growth.
At the terminal bud (at the apex of the plant) auxins (which are hormones) are produced wich promote verticle growth and retards latral (horizontal) growth.
Bending a plant and making the terminal bud lower results in lower auxin production & so the lower latral growth surges forth.
Suddenly we find that the latral growth become verical growth and there are now many terminal buds all producing auxins further reducing lower latral growth.
In a normal plant that has not been bent or topped, the terminal bud grows upwards and as it gets further away from the lower nodes recieve less auxin retardment and they grow in to side braches.
As much as it might seem logical the because the lower latral growth is reciving more light it spurs thier growth , it is in fact the reduction in auxin levels.
This technique has been used in fruit tree training such as espalier, fan training and step over, which produces higher crop yields as it is the new latral growth where the fruiting buds are to be found.
Another interesting fact about auxins is that this is also the hormone responsible for rooting and why we take cutting where we do.Any young plant want to reach for the light and grow taller than any competing plant around it and it is the auxins that make it do this by making verticle growth the dominant trait.

Love the diagrams blue ,I have seen this done with long lanky sativa strains when grown in a height restricted space :)

@skrewg, one could almost say - one opinion but multiple tips XD

What size pot do you currently have her in?

Not sure on exact size it's probably around 6-7 litre. The issue is if i'm LSTing you need space to tie down, i don't think the one i'm using is big enough circumference wise.

I decided against transplanting the ladies this weekend as they seem to doing amazingly well. I'm still planning to LST them thanks to some sound advice and resources given courtesy skrewg, blue and growerz. I'll keep you posted and hopefully have some more photos to upload soon.

I've had some unexpected visits from workmen over the past few days, they've been doing work to the outside of the building which has meant having to hide the little lady somewhere dark. It she won't be getting the required light for a couple of days. Hoping this won't affect the plant too much.

No photos at the moment but the little lady is starting to fill out. I'll be dosing her up with some flowering nutes as of tonight. They're rocking in on N-P-K of 4-9-9. Any opinions or thoughts on the ratio? I'll post some images over the weekend. Adios guys and girls.

Latest update, i've opted not to LST my young lady this time round, instead i'm going to let her keep on going as is. I's started her on some flowering nutes which seem to be working well. She's putting on some serious size at the moment and becoming pretty bushy. There are bud sites popping up all over the place and the main kola is starting to take shape nicely.

I'm around 35 days into the grow so would expect her to keep going for another 30 days or so.

Anyways, below are few shots i got off her over the weekend IMAG1092.jpgIMAG1094.jpgIMAG1097.jpgIMAG1098.jpg.

Looking good. Glad to see that the workman turning up didn't ruin it for you. Looks like you're going to have a lot of fun over the next month.

looks good man, the next 30 days or so should be awesome

Thanks guys, providing there ain't no more hicups with the old workmen i reckon we'll be all good. I'll hopefully have some more pics up in the coming days. PEACE :Cushty:

Hello folks, been away for a while and have to be honest my little lady has been taking a bit of a hammering over the past couple of days.

I've had to try over the lower branches as it was starting to develop what looked to be white mold or powdery mildew. It doesn't seem to have spread to the upper leaves or buds which is good, i just hope i caught it early enough.

Buds wise there are around 10-12 different buds sites that are starting to thicken up, i still think she needs another 2-3 weeks, depending on how well the weather holds out! I'll have a few more pics for you tomorrow.

Peace:smoke:
