Grow Mediums Auto Blueberry Dutch Passion 5 Gallon DWC

Alright so yesterday I started germinating my auto blueberry seed in a rapid root starter thing this time instead of rock wool just for the fun of trying something new. I didn't think it could possibly hurt so I put a little bit of rapid root, and dutch master silica in the water then evened out the ph. Tomorrow I'm going to go get the reflective stuff for the res.

Hopefully I do better this time. I guess I know a little bit better to take care of. I'll post some pics when there is something to see.

Thanks dude. Yeah sorry about all the likes I figured reading someone whose grow journals are actually good might help, and I got carried away. I only got to page 9, but I learned a lot. I plan on reading till the end. Not to mention it made me feel a lot better when I found I wasn't the only person having trouble with their first attempt. I plan on going through most of the dwc masters grow journals. Most specifically their earlier ones. Hopefully thats where you all learned haha

Oh I also went and got some of the reflectix or whatever it's called so that I can keep the water temp down in the res. I read that I'm basically gonna wrap the bucket up in it then tape it shut except for where the plant will go, and a little bit of the clay beads are showing or do I have that wrong? My other question is if I do that, and if I'm not gonna use the drip ring to start it out. How much water should I pour over it a day?

Oh ok haha. I skim over a lot of it haha, but I learned a good little bit about soil grows which I had very little knowledge on. Yeah a lot of what Kush said I took some notes on.


I also got a got a bottle of optic foliar overgrow. My local shop owner said a lot of people notice the effects in the first hour of using it. I figured I'd give it a try. Anyone ever used this product?

Alright so currently I am looking into a grow tent. I'm more than likely going to get it off ebay. Anythings I should know before buying? Or are all tents basically the same quality?

She just started to pop her head out today. I'm going to wait another day before I put her under the mh on the 250 watt setting. Currently she is under a cfl. I plan to put the relectix up on some of the walls as well as the top of the bucket around the plant, but giving it plenty of room. I plan to wait two more days till I put her in. After this I'm not sure to continue using my rapid start, and silica water to feed it or make a new solution using all my nutrients.
