Fast Buds Auto Gelato and friends

A big shout out to @Fast Buds Heather, she had gifted me some auto gelato seeds back when I first started testing seeds and I’ve finally gotten one in the ground.
the seed is about 2 years old so I wasn’t even sure if it would pop.
well it popped and she seems to be doing the thing. Gelato is 3 weeks(21 days) old today.
going forward I’ll do weekly updates in this thread.
INTRODUCTION-
Strain- Fast Buds Auto Gelato
Medium- 2gal coco loco
Nutes and add ons- megacrop, recharge, Epsom
Lights- starting under the 65w autocobs and will finish under 240w qb.
There may be training involved and at some point gelato will be joined by a couple more fast buds, wedding cheesecake and orange sherbet.

Auto Gelato is still chugging along.
she has taken to the big bend and we have a couple of nice side branches to work with now.
may train a lil bit more or might just let her go wild now, who knows.
she has spit a few hairs but it looks like we have some decent time before preflower and stretch kicks in.
Other than the bit of training everything else has been easy peasy.
she’s getting shots of mc with every watering now and just living her best life.
Lets go auto gelato!

We’ve hit day 35 and auto gelato is doing the thing!
I finally got her into the shape/structure I want and she’s spitting pistils.
would luv to get another couple weeks of stretch, stack some nodes.
everything is running fairly smooth , feed is currently 1/2tsp of mc and 1/2tsp of Epsom and now that she’s spitting the pistils I’ll up that to 3/4tsp of both.

Auto gelato hit 6 weeks and she’s doing the do.
I have pulled her as flat and wide and as I can, she’s spitting pistils and stretching so we shall see if it has any effect.
come on gelato you can do eeeeeet

We’ve hit week 7 and auto gelato is doing the thing.
she’s mostly done stretching and has moved into bloom.
At this point in the grow we won’t train anymore, pretty much just feed and snip an occasional fan leaf.
I’m guessing 4-5 more weeks till we hit the chop.

We’ve hit week 8 and auto gelato still doing the do!
at this point in the grow everything is mostly autopilot, just gonna feed her and (hopefully) watch her fatten up a bit.
gelato has some of her fb cousins in the house now.
she’s been joined in the staggered grow by a fb strawberry banana and a mimosa cake.
Ill be journaling those two in a grow and show here in afn and they’ll have a blog entry going as well. Just wanted to introduce em to anybody reading thru this!

Auto gelato just hit 9 weeks old today and she’s rocking towards the finish line.
she’s a lil ugly atm, I think stressed her out with light and let her get a lil too dry.
she’s maybe 3 weeks away tho and the buds are stupid dense.
She’s kicking off a smooth creamy gassy stank and I like it.

We’ve hit week 10 and auto gelato is getting close!
Buds are nice and dense and the trichs are getting cloudy.
she’s kinda fugly from some of mid grow abuse but I luv her and her weird ass stank.
Its like a creamy chem type of smell. Very sharp in the nose but not in a gas sort of way.
It’s freaky and I luv it, can’t wait to smoke it.

We’ve hit week 11 today and auto gelato is wrapping up.
Old gal, seed was 2 years old, has turned out for daddy and I am very pleased.
she has a smattering of amber in the trichs and could come down now but I’ll give her a couple more days of light before they go in the dark for two days, and THEN wack she gets the chop!
The dry will be what’s become my standard; hang whole on the clothesline until I can pick the big nappy fans off, then it gets brown bagged to finish the dry.
Ill rough trim in the trimbin and off to the jars she’ll go.

Auto gelato has come down!
It’s hanging in the closet right now but it’ll go down into the basement here shortly.
I’ll let it hang dry until I can just pull the big fans off easily at which point I’ll brown paper bag the plant to finish it’s dry, then the trimbin for a quick rough trim and finally off to the jars for some sweet cure time.
I’ve got the next seed dropped, just waiting on it to show it’s head or I’ll drop something else lol.
I’ll wrap this journal up as soon as it’s in the jar and I’ve sampled a bit!
