Autoflower in coco coir please help! (Repost new account)

:toke: seems to be a theme here right now! I'll c/p a response form another thread...

....I recommend doing a crapload of homework about coco, man! It can't be treated like soil, not for feeds/watering, pH, CEC management (cation exchange capacity; it's a Ca hog), flushing,.... read up here, and CANNA has a great website with info too,.. many do's and don't's with coco,... think more along the lines of hydro, than soil with coco; never water alone, add Ca-mg at least,.. coco is basically devoid of nutes, so start feeding within a week at most..... coco usually is run by feeding/watering every time in fact, with 15-20% run-off each time to keep salts from building up; it breaths and drains better than soil, so you can get away with this and not have problems,.... pH needs to be around 6.0,... you'll need a TDS or EC meter to monitor your numbers going in, and to assess run-off readings along with pH,....
...cold temps will really stall things out, cause deficiencies even if nutes are present,...

@Waira Thank you so much for that info a big help and and eye opener! As i said coco was the only option i could choose at the time, i also lack the tools needed for it. Its completely new to me i have always grown in soil but wont back down from this challenge my temps are only quite low of a night when lights go out the heater i have is just abit too small to push the cold room temps away. Should i only be giving veg nutes or should i add flower mix now because my 'Berry Ryder' is showing flower?

I think is anything she only showing sex, them plants you pictured are not ready to start flowering or even preflowering just yet... They first will show you sex, some people confuse that with pre-flower and switch to bloom nutes, which is wrong also, you shouldn't switch to bloom nutes until she at-least a week into pre-flower, Imo that is when they are needing the grow nutes the most and as @Waira had mentioned calmag should be used always. from pre-charge to late flower, in coco.and ph and like one of the most important parts of working with coco, very very important it's not treated like soil... I see many people try treat coco like soil and it don't work out very well for them.

@Unique Right ok thanks! I was only asking because the Berry Ryder has alot of white hairs on her top and also on the lower brances too im not an expert on autos so every bit of info will take me along way thanks. I will have a look round for some calmag to buy aswell

I know you can use epsom salt as foliar, but I am honestly unsure of the mixture on that...but I'm sure @Waira can give you advice on that until you can pick some up or get some sent.

your seeing them little hairs at most of your inter-nodes & at very top correct? she could start pre-flower in maybe 8-10 days, but you continue with grow nutes until the aggressive growth slows down, approx 10-12 days after pre-flowering starts..that is when I switch to transition nutes, then to bloom nutes after that..I don't go straight from grow to bloom

@Unique yeah thats correct an i see where your coming from now plus yesterday you said the count is behind from where im at due to calling day 1 when they broke ground if that is the case will the dates on my plant be pushed back roughly 6 days or so? I have a lot to learn about autos your plants look so good
