I'm a little confused myself I thought rep but there no way to give rep then I looked under profile and trophies. I think it's trophy points and the trophy is the little things for getting likes..

And I with you I've been on other sites where you could max rep easy and achieve high rep points easy. Here it took work and folks were proud of the rep. And these thumbs up guys and poker chips are a far cry from breeder badges pom silver cups and that sweet gold trophy of yours tang.

This new site really is great and not to take anything away. This was the only let down. I say no poker chips and thus guys and incorporate the rep bar and old badges in there place.

I think other badges such as breeder badges will be back (just my guess though).

when you look at NorthernGrower and Mossy they have the badges such as "very wise so he is" and "dragon master" so it leads me to thinking more badges are to come.

I'm guessing with everything on the this new site, we will see changes daily until it has all been set as Admin wants it.

On the whole people don't like change but as time passes, that which is new becomes familiar, I can imagine it now, in another five years time and we may have to update again & we will be just as miffed the point system has changed again.

Agreed it's early days and the staff are doing excellent.

There is one thing I really hope comes back and that's the ability to look at all your started threads on your home page,that's was my first stop every day to answer questions now I'm a little lost without it.

Good point, the only way I see of doing it at the moment is to only watch threads you create.

When replying to a post that you don't want to watch click the "More options" tab (near the reply tab) and deselect "watch this thread".

The when you view your "watched threads" (click "forums" tab and then the "watched threads" tab) you will only see the threads which you started.

You will still receive alerts for such things as "likes received" and if someone "quotes your post".

Alert preferences can be changed in the "Alert Preference" click your user name at the top of the screen and select "Alert Preferences" and you can choose as to what you want to be alerted to.

I don't think badges determined grower skill level. Popularity trophys In my opinion. I been here 3 yrs, with over 24 auto grows. I never had no badges and I consider myself a top grower. Honestly I believe it's because people don't understand my techneques. But it's all good because my jars are full. Lol. My 2 cents. Peace
