I never saw this on a forum before, so I thought I would share. I put a tomato cage into my three gallon pots. I let the wire go through holes in the bottom and bend them up the outside to hold them in. I have used this method for two grows and I have been happy with the added support, and being able to do a little LST'ing (using binder clips). Additionally, it makes it a lot easier when moving pots around. The only negative is I have to have to use a fluorescent light stuck through the cages for lighting when small (the cages act as support for the light). If you're an indoor soil grower, try it and let me know what you think.
