Day 23.

A bit of a rought start for these two ladies, but they are both strong enough now that I was able to remove the supporting sticks. They are drinking about 200-250ml per day, although I have a slight suspicion I'm giving them a bit too much water so I may need to do a few skip days here and there. They are sharing a 90W PP light, but looks like that's enough for now. Nutes are at 1.5ml/L - AN Grow + CalMag.

Day 30.

Both girls are making progress, they are growing fast. "1st" one did not open up too well, so had to do minor traning on her to allow the colas to have their own space. She is also a few cms shorter, so I ended up raising her a bit as they are still sharing a 90W light. I'm planning to move them into the "flowering zone" in the tent after my TD is done Tuesday.

"2nd" one is a happy girl. Opened up for the colas really well, no need to adjust anything for now. She is also taller, looks to be just stronger in general.

I definitely notice what TaNg wrote in his smoke report, the internodes are significantly spacier on this strain than usual. I can appreciate the height though, after my TD being a dwarf :smoking:

Swapped them around now, so "1st" one is on the left, "2nd" one is on the right. They were just fed, hence the bit of sad leaves.

Day 35 update.

Well, like my previous grow, this isn't without hiccups either. The previous grow was slow (TD), which put me in this relaxed mindset (or was it the weed ), while these BlackBerries were the opposite and grew up rapid fast. Once they took off, they grew so fast that I failed to realize how hungry they are, and deficiencies have developed on the lower leaves. The "1st" one suffered more, because it stopped growth 4-5 days sooner than the "2nd". As far as I could tell, it looked like multiple deficiencies N-P-Mg-Ca.

To remedy the situation, I quickly upped the water from 250-300ml to 700-850ml, went to full strength nutes and decided to feed them in two half-doses, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Although the leaves affected look to be not saveable, the rest looks to be okay and now they are well on their way for flowering. I'm hoping I caught the issue on time and that they will be happy from here on. Definitely a learning lesson again

One other interesting discovery is that on a few leaves there are these small white lines. First I thought they are the dreaded leaf miners, but after closer inspection I don't think so. What was interesting about these lines is that they are only visible when the plants are under the LED. When moved out of the tent for daylight, there are no lines at all. I'll include a few pictures below, it's somewhat hard to see but they are there. No clue on what may cause that, perhaps another deficiency from the rapid growth? I really hope it's not some sort of super-stealthy bug.

Here they are, now under the bigger lights, enjoying the bloom spectrum. "1st" one stopped at 54cm, "2nd" one is still growing but slow now, currently at "63cm".

"2nd" one suffered a bit as well, but not nearly as much as "1st". As she was still growing and I suspect didn't need as much P, I think that's why she didn't have the same level of symptoms:

If you guys feel I've mis-diagnosed, please let me know what you think may have been / is the problem. I hope it's not some kind of scavenger
