I used this 250-watt red (flowering) all the way through on 20/4 schedule :

250w 250 Watt 6400k CFL energy saving lamp Grow Light bulb growing Plug and Grow | eBay

It has eight u-tubes and they are ten inches long, the longest on the market i believe.

20K Lumens.

This was the result using Dutch Passion StarRyder :

I've switched to a 120W LED for my current grow to see how it compares to the CFL which has now died, after 8,100 hours of use.

Man, revisiting this post and I gotta say that's a really good info for me.

As I approach my next grow, you got me thinking..

Nice job :High 5:

just confused when you say flowering then list a 6400k. wouldn't that be veg?

...:High 5: Fantastic Star Ryders mate! I just got a 300w Feliz dual-spec, and it's a whopper just like yours!.... looking at your wattage and results, maybe I went overkill on mine! I'll have my first run with it starting soon,... but it's very reassuring to see such excellent results from CFL's! :wiz:

Sorry to jump in this thread.... Waira.... Have you decided to come and play indoors for the winter? ;)

Sweet! What were the dimensions of your grow area?
