Yes i stupidly put 6400k when i meant 2700K, this one in fact :

The grow area was a DIY chipboard cabinet, 2x2x3ft high (60x60x90cm high).

I used 2L pots, organic compost and organic nutes (plant magic soil and nutes, a uk company).

The secret with CFL is to keep it close to the buds from 14 days on, and do some LST to even up canopy.

Nicely done. I love that small space growers. I recently realised that putting cfl the nearest to buds really had an influence on the bud growth. May I ask how high they got? Cause it looks really smallish on that DIY 60x60x90. Bigger pots got them too big for me so I had to put the same lamp of yours with reflector on thee back "sideway" .. Maybe 2L pots would do the trick I'll think about that.

Cheers Blue, i think you've seen me show off that lot a few times now, i'm proud of that grow and like to show what can be done with a CFL in a small space

Thanks shiz, yes including the pots (which are about 8 inches high) the plants got two about 2ft, but that was them tied down with LOTS of LST going on, otherwise they would have reached the ceiling of the cab.

The cab in my current grow (link in my sig) is 4 feet high and this time i'm using 3L pots but growing Afghan Kush Ryders, which are shorties.

As an experiment i'm doing no LST to see what the penetration is like on my new 120W Prakasa LED, i've also just thrown in a couple of 20W CFL's for some side-lighting and some extra heat.

Well, my AKR's were always potent under CFL but i must admit the Starryders weren't so potent.

More experienced growers than me told me the only thing that has an effect on potency is the strain but i don't know ...
