New Grower Best lighting for Auto flowers? Flourescent or HPS or MH ????

I am wanting to know what is the most effective and inexpensive lighting I should use for my Autos, I am using Metal Halide 600w at present but I am wondering if I would get the same results with Flourescent ie T5 lights I would be so grateful for any suggestions or in particular tried and tested methods, I thank you in advance

If you're happy w/ your current lights stick w/ them ... if you're looking to change consider LEDs ...
