Hi
I´m going to experiment with the Auto Jack strain from Paradise Seeds in my greenhouse this summer, but I´m not really sure what the optimal start-up month will be. I have read that even though most sources indicates a ~75 days life cycle one should expect at least 90 days when growing the plant outside. I live in Denmark, and as the summer here is rather short, and late spring and early autumn can be cold, I would like to utilize the time at hand at its best.
At present time I´m thinking that germination should be in the end of May, which will leave June, July and August (statistically the warmest months of the year) for growing.
But on the other hand I guess that sunshine is more important than temperature alone, and (statistically) May, June and July have significantly more sunshine hours than August has. So maybe it would be better to start germination in the end of April, leaving May, June and July for growing...
So what would you recommend?
The experiment is means as a low cost/low tech solution, so I will be using a ordinary 10 liter plastic bucket with holes drilled in the bottom as a container and will be feeding it rain water with an occasional supplement of some universal greenhouse fertilizer.
