Extraction BHO Discussion Thread

Green Dragon, no doubt!! I do plan in making some of that 4sho! I've heard it can be some good stuff, if made properly and with some good bud! I thought I'd see if I could make some oil with the Everclear since it is food grade, and seemed safer on the body. Don't get me wrong! I plan on making some good ol' BHO, too, I just figured I'd start with the Everclear. I want to learn multiple techniques just so I can be as well rounded as possible.

Bandit you can do a Quick wash with the EverClear as you would with ISO.

Would a quick wash have the same potency and quality as a BHO? In this one video I saw, maybe 6 months back, where the guy used everclear to make a thick, dark oil, and I been trying to find it again to see what the process was. I actually wanted to send you the link to see what you thought, but I'm having a hard time locating it

IMO No. The potency will still be up there above 50% For Sure, Quality on the other hand is just not there. For some Reason I feel I can taste the Sugars from Everclear left in the Oil but I have a keen taste for Concentrates and know what I want. Don't get me wrong Brotha it will still taste good and definitely get ya Zooted. But I'm also a BHO head so..
I would still do Quick Wash Run if I didn't discover the Rosin Tech process I Posted. It's just Truly quick and solvent Free so the Terpene Profile is just Ridiculous.

No doubt, the Rosin Tech process does yield some delicious results!! I can't wait until this fluffy ass, no density having bud is ready, so I can see what it tastes like, using the R.T. process!

Well im gonna practice making BHO. I have some trim not sure how much, and 2 cans of newport . Im just prepping everything on the stove but all the extractions will be done outside. i will not bring it back inside until im 100% sure its bubbled off and safe. There is nothing on my porch to cause a flame so im ok on that to.. remember this is testing to try and get better at the science of BHO my #1 goal is safety and education..

Be very careful using a stove man please.

i would not put the dish with wax on a stove till tomorrow.
do a nice hot water bath then put it in the garage over night to evaporate at room temp prior to using a stove top. just to be safe

O weedman I'm just using my stove as a table top. its not turned on and im not going to be heating my BHO using my stove at all. ive got it all chopped real nice and im ready to take everything outside at this point..
