Lighting Bigger hood or light mover?

I have a 600w air cooled light now. My reflector is 14"x22"ish. My room is 6'x 3'4" and i got 7 5 gal buckets in it. Would a bigger hood, say 22x36", give me better coverage or would a light mover work better? They are both similarly priced just looking for some help. I was thinking that the larger reflector would have more air in it to dissipate the heat better, but i dont have issues with heat currently. Thanks for the help!

Fatcalvin i'd go with the light mover my friend ..:Sharing One:..thats a lot of plants for a 600 watt light and you have them in 5gal buckets whats your growing media ?.....a bigger hood will only thin your light out and not give your plants the light they need , id thin my plants back a bit my friend or add another 600watter ...not anuff light for plant count...:dunno:

Thanks for the reply! I have my plants in dwc 5 gallon buckets with 6" netpot lids. I have another 400w light that I can add if needed. It is in a cool tube. The guy at the hydro store was telling me that with a big hood like that I could run 2 lights from seperate ballasts in it if I had a socket and added it in, which I do have one from a open wing reflector. I just figured a light mover would be one more thing that could break. But I do like the idea of the mover except for my exhaust fan is on one side of the light and the filter is on the other. Thanks for the help.

CGR here are some pics of the girls from the other day. They were started on 5-26 and started to flower 7-5. Some of them are a little behind but there are a few that are doing good. I got 4 advanced Bio-diesel Mass and 3 Northern lights x bigbud. They are a lot taller than the auto NL i ran from nirvana but those were in soil and my first go rounds. I have since had a few decent runs with photos and clones in both soil and hydro hope you enjoy!!

That last one is not its permanent home in the room I had them moved for a res change. And sorry the pics are weird there isnt a lot of room in there. Haha
